Just by sheer coincidence I've cleared my schedule for the weekend, my cell is charged, and my airline points are all ready. Come on Lexi, you know I can keep up! Nevermind about my inability to read a green, long-standing lack of recognition of a 9 vs a 6 (even when underlined), and the fact we'd look like a mirror image of Moriya and her caddie, but hey it's just ONE tournament...

Can't say I saw this coming. I know that golfers need a new look and voice from time to time, which is OK, but this one was a bit shocking.

It has to be tough to be a child prodigy so ultra focused on reaching your potential that you block out all distractions until you reach the point Lexi has where you get hit with them all at once. Body image issues, firing her caddie, taking a month off are all indications that she's not in a good place and she's thrashing in an attempt to bring some stability back into her life. I wish her the best, these next few years could be critical in defining her career going forward.

Yea, they were together when Lexi and Anna played their epic Solheim Cup match against each other. It was great match with a lot of emotion from both players. Kevin was glad and relieved when it ended in a halve.

Lydia Ko is way overdue for a new caddie.

 

Who knows what happened. Maybe he just brings up bad memories or maybe he said something stupid at the wrong time. Or maybe it was just time to go another way. Regardless, he will find another bag to tote and Lexi will be just fine with another caddie. Westwood just won with his girlfriend on the bag and Kuchar won with a substitute caddie so it isn't the end of the world here.

From articles I've read posted on this forum and from the televised events, I doubt it effects the LPGA community at all. Caddies seem to change frequently. Lydia Ko fired Jane Parks husband.

Without jumping to conclusions as to why they parted ways, my first thought was maybe it was Kevins choice. After proving he has the skill, and Anna not having the best year(especially in Majors), perhaps they will try not to kill each other and team up.

I think Lexi just needs some down time to relax and enjoy being a young lady. It would be hard at her age to travel that much without things like dating or a little romance. She seems like a great gal just a little sad. What good is all that money with no honey!

We saw that same guy at the Open in Alabama; we thought he may have been her personal trainer or something. For context, my wife used to be a personal trainer.

 

My wife said after she won yesterday, "Well, looks like Lexi's dating her trainer." The ensuing conversation went thus:

 

"You sure? I thought he was just following her or her trainer, he was all in Puma gear too."

 

"Nope, kissed him full on the lips."

 

"Really? Maybe it was just a close buddy kiss."

 

"No babe, rewind it. Trust me."

Was glad to see Lexi win. Hope she has found balance in her life. She is by far my favorite LPGA player. Loved what was said about her in Global Golf Post today....she decided to just play her natural shot shape...the draw (sometimes hook).

Congrats to Lexi on a great win! She's made a fantastic move in getting her life back in order....she got a new puppy. Nothing like a puppy to

rearrange your priorities. I guess she was letting golf control her life, now a loveable puppy will make her know that golf isn't number one. :taunt:
