Favorite Golf Glove?

I like the thin feel and lightness of it...

Oakley makes killer golf gloves and shoes. They are well worth the look.

 

The Oakley gloves last forever.

I bought a couple of dozen Nike gloves cheaply a couple of years back and I'm still working through them.

 

Dura-Feel; the synthetic ones with a leather thumb and palm patch.

 

Cheap (about $8 apiece at the time) but very good and hard-wearing.

 

I played a Titleist glove for nigh on 20 years before that.

Struggled to find a glove where the THUMB seam didnt shot after a few holes. Meaning shift to the center of my thumb.

 

Until the Taylor Made R7 glove was tried. IMO this is the best glove on the market. And if you care for them they last twice as long as the titleist players glove. They also have a very comfy strap across the velcro. Never thought I would say that FJ gloves dont work for me but after a dozen of them, all with the thumb shifting, I cant wear them anymore.

 

I use cord grips and haven't torn a hole in one of these or really worn them through. Just form wear they do get stiff but that is four or 5 rounds and a few practice sessions for me. Do I want a glove that last longer, of course, but I cant find one.

 

Anyone know of a GREEN clored golf glove, please let me know.

Foot-Joy used to make green Sta-Sofs. Not sure if they still do.

Titleist Perma-Soft is what I am using now.

I will use it again. Nike Elite Feel is also very good.

In the six months I have been playing I have tried the Nike Dura Feel, Callaway, 2 types of Foot Joy and th eone I like the most and currently use, a very cheap Wilson!

 

I find the cheapy the most comfortable and it makes my hands sweat the least. It has mesg panels in the back and the sides of the fingers breath.

They don't get as sweat soaked as most other gloves, I guess due to the mesh vent it has across the knuckles. I had four of them last me the entire summer.

Wilson used to have a really good tour club when I was on their Club Pro Staff, it was so thin and comfortable!

 

The Titleist Perma Soft is my favorite right now though.

I think most company's premium glove is pretty good. I usually buy gloves to match whatever irons I am playing at the time. So right now I am using a Ping glove.

Titleist Players-Tech I think they're called. Like their all leather glove with some mesh on the back of the hand and knuckles. Love 'em. Been using them for 2 seasons. Fit great and last longer than the FJ's did (same company, go figure!)

I'd like to get Taylormade R7, but found out that they don't have Small Cadet. I've got a fairly small hands (currently playing Nike Dri tour Small Cadet).

 

Does anyone know any size comparison between Nike and TaylorMade ? Would Taylormade R7 Med Cadet would be similar to Nike Small Cadet ???

Nike drifit Tour ...by far one of the best...hand stays dry which i love instead of sweating in the leather..and love the design of the glove

I saw the Nike Dri-Fit Tour at Golfsmith today...tried it on and thought it felt pretty good...

 

I should have picked one up...

I second the Footjoy WeatherSoft. I buy the 2packs for $18 and keep four in the bag and they last a long time.
