Best courses for family?

My daughter just turned 8 and has started to show some interest in golf. I was searching for junior/family options and stumbled on to Starfire's 'Mulligan' short course. Do any of you play with your kids and have recommendations for low key, kid-friendly options?

Mountain Shadows. Great executive par 3 course. About 13 of the holes are 100 yards or less. Beautiful scenery and the whole place is top notch.

The 9 holers at Encanto or Aguila. Cheap, decent condition for what they are, and I see kids out there all the time.

2019 Futures Course – Junior Programs

 

Etiquette Classes

 

Sign-ups for the one hour Etiquette class for The Futures Course Junior Pass Program are now available online. Etiquette Classes will begin April 5th and run through May 25th 2019. Junior(s) who attends the one hour etiquette class will receive a Junior Membership pass to The Futures Course that is valid from May 28th- August 31st 2019. Juniors must take the Etiquette Class each year to be eligible for membership and you only need to attend one class. This pass allows each pass holder complimentary golf and they can bring 1 guest (18 years or older) complimentary as well. Ages 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age). Ages 12 and older may play without an adult. The cost to attend the Etiquette class is $20.00 and must be paid by cash. The class will cover appropriate behavior, care for the course, membership guidelines, and upcoming events.

Classes will be held on Wednesday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s. Classes will start at either 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm on Wednesday depending on the week. Friday Classes will start at 5:00 pm and Saturday’s classes will start at 12:00 pm. Sign up online now!

ETIQUETTE SIGN UP POLICY

 

Juniors may sign-up online NO later than TWO hours prior to the start of class. Registrations submitted after that time will not be accepted and you will be asked to attend another class.

Important things to remember:

Classes must be paid in Cash only.

Check in process may take up to 10 min. To ensure that we start each class on time if you are not checked in 5 min. before the start of class you will be asked to attend another class.

Juniors who arrive after the start of class will be asked to attend another class time.

Classes are an hour in length and juniors need to participate in only one each year.

Juniors only need to bring a good and attentive attitude.

Golf clubs are NOT necessary to attend the class.
