Technically not JDM because they are distributed by an European company (at least the last time I checked). Forged at Kyoei though. Personally I don’t let the distribution thing bother me. Still have a set stored away. toad37
There definitely is something special about many JDM clubs. I'm just starting to go down that rabbit hole so I'm loving this thread. Please keep it coming.
WoodHeads
I've only played Honma, Miura, PRGR, and Mizuno. I prefer the look/feel of PRGR the most, but my friend said that I play "like an uncle" or else I would say Miura is top. I might pick up a set of Maruman to try out, as well. The PRGR affection may come more from how their classic blades look at address than anything else.
lefty_forever
I currently play a set of Vega satin CB and just love them. Love the feel and they just fit my eyes... Tried to replace them couple of time and just can’t..

Miura has been releasing some strange models since the buyout, albeit, I got really great numbers with the IC601 heads. > > In continuation of the thread; my masda fast blades have one of the most unique feelings I have ever felt in an MB chassis in comparison to Miura and Kyoei. But they are nowhere near a "popular" JDM brand. Where is this buy back stemming from?

links242
Recently purchased a set of used Fourteen blades. Love them! They are really soft to hit. I maybe wrong but I dont think that brand is popular in Japan.
