Vegas Suggestions

Going to be in Las Vegas for two days and have some time to kill on day one. Would love to play some great golf. I have time to drive but probably not over an hour or an hour and a half. Suggestions? Thanks!

Highly recommend TPC Las Vegas. I just played there Sunday and the conditions are the best I’ve ever played. My favorite layout in Las Vegas. Spectacular scenery located in beautiful Summerlin. Try to eat at Ada’s down the street in Tivoli Village. My favorite new restaurant. Enjoy your trip!

Just back....Rio Secco in very good condition; the Revere courses are not, so stay away. TPC Vegas is in very good shape too.

Spend all day at Paiute. Absolutely love that place. The wolf is on the top of my list of favorite courses I have played but any of the courses you will be very happy with. 54 holes of great golf at the facility.

The Revere courses are in horrible condition. I was told by one of the bartenders that it is in serious financial trouble and that they are closing at least the Lexington course. It was really decrepit when I played there last week. I will never go back.

Played Shadow Creek and Cascata on my last visit. I dont think you can really talk about elite Vegas golf and not mention these two courses. Both excellent, both exceptionally pricey.

Cascata is a dump if you factor in the price. Played it Friday: The bunkers were concrete, many inconsistent fairways, the rough was wildly inconsistent, the caddies absolutely rotten/useless. The greens were pure at least. Sad pro shop and merch. Terrible bar/food area. Will never play there again unless it is under $20!

I have only played once, and my experience was different, except for the caddie...he was easily one of the worst I have had. I played in the peak winter, and conditions were really good. I wonder if the transition back to bermuda this spring has been tough. There is much to like in that layout with the elevation changes, as well as a few wonky things. I did think the price was high for what it was.
