Golf Course Vlogs.

I see these becoming more and more popular on YouTube. I really enjoying watching average joe golfers playing. Kind of refreshing as compared to watching the pros dominate courses.

 

Does anyone else enjoy them?

My 10 year old son likes to watch YouTube videos of "gamers" playing their video games where you can see the video game plus them sitting around talking about it. I told my wife I can't criticize that because I like to sit around watching vlogs of average golfers golfing on youtube. I like Mark Crossfield vlogs and recently started watching Golf Sidekick too.

I'm pretty much hooked on GolfVlogs UK. I think I discovered it and its merry band of Golfmates about a year ago. What a cast of characters; The People's Golfer, Old Man Pat, The D1ck, eBay Pete, Windows, Josh and on and on. Just an ordinary bunch of midlanders out having a good time at Chorlton Cum Hardy. It's almost like a British comedy filmed at a golf course and it's not your usual fare either of instructional videos and equipment tests. Oh they do those, but from an entirely different perspective than what you might expect.

I can just about tolerate most of the "personalities" in order to watch someone playing a course I've visited before. It's a cool way to re-visit courses I saw on vacation and really liked.

 

But on some of them I have to mute the sound to avoid the strained attempts at clever banter or authoritative-sounding commentary.

Someone in the forums shared an Erik Anders Lang video a while back and I immediately subscribed to his YouTube channel after watching it. He's a very good golfer but his videos focus more on golf culture and having fun on the course. I highly recommend checking out his videos. Very good stuff!

I prefer to play golf myself than follow any amateurs on YouTube. I watch pro golf however occasionally pga tour, European tour, majors and sometimes ladies majors and lpga and sometimes seniors

seen one on bethpage black with that frisbee kid brodie. watched all 3 episode on it. felt bad for his friend who played with him.

checked them out. pretty good stuff, the girls that they play against are great, easy on the eyes as well

I'll have to check it out. I've also been watching the No Laying Up YouTube channel lately and it's pretty great.

Ya I don’t spend much time on YouTube but golfholics and nlu are the only 2 I consistently watch.
