I am guessing via comparison that X Flex are an inch shorter to the first ring.

Also checked an AD GT 7S, an ADDJ 6S, an ADDI 7S, and 7X, and all conform to the 24.75" to first green ring measurement principle.

GD AD MJ 6s 24.75 to first yellow ring.

DI 7s is 24.75" to band

An AD DI 6X is an inch shorter to the first green ring than a 6S, so a 6S tipped an inch (to give X flex equivalent) will have rings aligning to 6X out of the factory. The shaft in question was tipped half an inch, which is 3 wood tipping spec.

Where are you located ? As this will make a difference.For instance in the USA tipping around 20% seems to be pretty standard, but in Japan it is actually insulting if you tip.

Fujikura ATMOS Black Tour Spec - 18.5" to the 'a' in Fujikura

I found it... jmcdonald has it right. The measurement for the other Tour AD Wood models of DJ, BB, GT, MT, MJ, M9003 and GP are also 24 5/8" from the tip to the first ring in the graphics closest to the tip on a brand new shaft. For the Tour DI Hybrids, it is 21 5/16", for the Tour HY hybrids it is 20 7/8". The Tour AD 9003's are 25 3/4".https://forums.golfwrx.com/discussion/comment/13241268/#Comment_13241268

The BF looks to be at 17-3/16"to the l in Chemical, so that's tipped 1 inch.

 

The DF is at 18-1/8" to the l in Chemical is untipped in my mind.

 

That is if the DF and BF and, maybe by extension, RF and ZF all have the same tip to graphic dimension.

1/8 or 3/16 - either way is fine. Its just error of the person who measured (I just copied those from other threads). 3/16 is like a hair over 1/8.

 

The point is that is your shaft is tipped .5" or 1" or 1.5" you would be able to tell even if we said it was just 18" from tip to graphic since those are much larger numbers.

Anyone have the tip to graphic for the Fujikura Atmos Tour Spec Hybrid.

 

For the Blue 8S I have (unknown tipping, but unlikely untipped, likely 1/2") the tip to graphic is 14.25" from the tip (tip trimmed some amount) to the "a" in Fujikura

True temper sent me an email stating that for Hzrdous Smoke RDX Blue & Black, the tip to the lowest part of the "X" in "RDX" is ~ 20 1/4".  Same for all flexes and for both 60g & 70g versions.

Fujikura Ventus HB hybrid shaft tip to graphic is the same as the driver shafts,

4" from the tip to the final "e" in Velocore.
