Even with the less than stellar record I possess in picking Thursday night ( 1-4) games I feel the urge to make a selection.

In me picking the Browns it most assuredly gives Pete3 and Richard's (forged forever) beloved Terible Towelies the victory tonight, so it won't totally suck if I lose.

I just feel Cleveland gets jazzed for the Prime Time spotlights and wins by 7

 

So I am taking the Browns and laying the 3 points as my first pick for the week. Dawg's be a barking tonight!

Oh they exist here and there. Yes for most of their existence the team did not have a dancing lady squad. I found that in 2012 they did finally put together some.

It's just I couldn't find a solo gal photo that made the grade.

Cleveland came through for me Thursday night. Now for my remaining two picks.

A few of us (4) have taken the Raiders this week. Interesting that all of the country thinks it's an easy win.

The first line opened at -8 last Sunday night.

Early Tuesday ( my posted line) the line was -10 1/2.

Tonight some Vegas sportsbooks have it at -13, though the consensus in Vegas right now is -12 1/2.

 

Pretty strong line movement on this game.

 

on the money line if you bet ($100) simply the Bengals win the game, it currently pays 5 to 1 or $500.

on the other side to win $100 on the Raiders you have to punk down $700.

So a few of us took the bait with zillions of others on the Raiders. Watch them cover the 10 1/2 but not the 13 that it undoubtedly will be at kick off.

Interesting news on the Oakland line movement. They are also a favorite pick in one-and-done pools this week as Oakland may not have been previously used by many participants. >What a crap game Thursday night. Two teams struggling to be relevant. I will say that even though Rudolph looked inept at times, the Pittsburgh offensive line was getting an old fashioned beat down.

Pittsburgh's defense could not crank up their turnover machine like they have been doing as of late. The Browns, however, were still the biggest losers in the end. That guy should have been tested for drugs or steroids immediately after the game. I have a feeling he may not have been the only one amped up on some artificial intelligence pills LoL Maybe the whole defensive unit had some magic dust flowing. They had to win that game at home to keep their coach from being one and done.

 

Dear NFL, how in the eff is NOT the Baltimore vs Houston game the Sunday Night game? The Rams suck, the Bears suck, both have two QB's that Kaepernick could beat out for a starting job right now. There will be more Bears fans at the game than L.A fans. Boo NBC Boo NFL you all suck! "Oh, those are some pretty harsh words DoctorO! You care to put your money where your mouth is?" "Ok calm down oh wise conscience" "Ok Goddammit, I will pony up some picks on these games." I think the Bears defense helps overcome the Rams beleaguered offensive line and brings it against Goff. McVay will be forced to lean on the run game early and often but it's not enough for the cover Bears +7

 

Now for a game that should feature two of possibly the top 5 most entertaining if not the most entertaining QB's in the league, I will gladly take the over in this little game of QB H.O.R.S.E. Why this is not a primetime game is beyond me!?

Big hands for anyone watching the Redskins and Jets tilt???? okay, crickets I hear. I will DVR it just in case Haskins has a coming-out party. But I am not wasting my Sunday watching this game of Adrian Peterson up the middle and dump off passes to Darius Guice. The Jets are going to win it so I will take them +1.5 I will throw a dance party if the Redskins score a touchdown on offense. Bring your eighties cassettes I will crank up the Sony walkman. That was probably the last tunes ever heard in a Redskins victory party.
