My gosh the "grab 3 dogs " approach has me teetering into the red for the season's first week.

I suck.

1-1 (so far) with the graces of the hook in the Indy game, and that cover came WAY LATE. lol

Falcons laid an egg right from the start.

Big hopes for the Texans plus a TD tomorrow night to get me over .500 .

I smelled a rat and did not get sucked in on the Stillers (RIchard speak and cool in an Iron City way, or as the case may be a double Woodford 3 rocks at the club) plus the points. F ing Foxboro, Even the gadget play went for a big chunk.

Rams killed me late..... missed FG and then Panthers march the ball down the field to score a TD to land on the number.....

I think Dallas surprised themselves with that win. I mean it's against the Giants but Prescott is playing for the $$$$$. I'll keep riding that horse until the extension is announced and he drops back down to earth.

 

So how does scoring work. Is it overall percentage? If we land on the number does it count as a loss or does the tie count?

Ties do count. So if you went 2 wins and a tie for the week , you would post the following for week one.

Back in the 70s the Southern Rock genre was defined by the boys from Jacksonville. They were, by definition, free birds. Around this time there was a band who was exclaiming Jesus Just Left Chicago. Well for this pick, I am taking the rockin blues tones of Houston and giving the points.

Andrea Martin is one of the funniest women on the planet. I encourage you all to catch an edition of Edith Prickly. Always made me laugh. 3D Theatre, and the Fishin Musician particularly with Wendy O’Williams made me laugh as a kid. Second City is some funny stuff. In a nod to Johnny LaRue I am taking the Bears and the points.

On Sunday night the Steelers dropped a kielbasa on Polish Hill. Not sure I expect anything better this week, so I am going to take the Seahawks and the points. My favorite team is a rollercoaster. They could legitimately drop 40 points on the Hawks, I suspect a number closer to 3 even though Big Ben plays better in Steeltown. Maybe forged will be there.

Bell's MRI came back clean so he should be good to go. But yeah, with Darnold out and them losing Enunwa. Offense is looking rough with Siemian at the helm.
