I had the Forged Tec Black’s for about 6 months after release, with the $ Taper shafts they were probably the best feeling/performing irons I’ve ever had, that statement includes the Mizuno’s I have in my bag right now, I switched them out because I hated the massive amount of offset they had, If they could trim up the top line and reduce the offset but keep the same performance as the FTB’s, these irons will be top of the pack.

I had come here to post that I think they could do with a refresh of the name as the F line is 3 or 4 years old at least now.

 

Titleist, Ping (kind of), Srixon, Mizuno have all tweaked their branding over the last 18 months.

That's interesting that people are so bothered by it. I'm pretty sure it could say "Garter snake" on the side of it and I'd still play it if I liked the look and performance of the club.

I got to hit the new cobra driver yesterday. There are two models the extreme which is a more forgiving head then the standard more tour'ish head. They have made a few changes and refined the design of the F9 a bit. I LOVE it. It is really really good. They also have the standard and tour fairway heads and new for this year is what they call the F9 big. it is a slightly larger head with a very low COG to keep spin down. They designed this to get the LTD fairway heads out of Lexi and Bryson's hands. It comes only in a 3 wood but it is really good as well.

 

Cobra is really doing a good job over the last few years.
