Well, the matte carbon is the leader in the clubhouse in looks for my next purchase. That thing looks awesome. Face is really intriguing too.

Very interesting looks. I think that crown will actually help a lot with alignment because of the face kind of extending on to the crown area. I've heard some sound clips of this being hit on Tour and it sounds really nice. Loved the F9 as far as looks & sound/feel went, so I'm glad to see Cobra didn't alter that too much.

There is no 'tour' head. There is the replacement for F9 (SZ) and the additional SZ Xtreme (high MOI) head. Both come in gloss crown with yellow details, or matte crown with white details.

Hmm. Curious how that works then. From the picture it looks like it is continuously milled, i.e. I don't see any weld spots.

Perhaps there will some kind of explanation when they officially release it.

Whats the loft adjustability for these new Cobras?

Looks like the same as the F9. A 9* model and a 10.5* model. Each one can be adjusted up or down 1.5*.

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder (I think the entire package looks incredible), but I’m curious what’s so bad about it? I personally like it more than the old Cobra logo as an alignment mark.

I'm excited just because it's been a while since any new big sticks have come out. However, I'm not expecting much in terms of performance. I'm just hoping that the stock set up is a little more flat and a little bit lower spin. Not as flat and low spin as LTD but I struggled with spinning the F9 a little bit too much. Granted it was a fairway finding MACHINE when I hit it... I was giving up like 20 yards to Flash/M5 etc but I strongly preferred the looks and feel. Looking back on how I played this year I could have probably used the extra spin and stayed in the short stuff more.
