No sliding weights. Similar front back weighting system as the F9.

I "tested", er spent time in the bay, with the 410, F9, M5, and a Mizuno. The 410, arguably the ugliest of the bunch gave the best ball speed of the bunch, by a good 4-5 mph, seemed more forgiving as well... I do not think that the weight slides, it screws into 3 diff positions in a channel which seemed like it was made for a sliding weight.. But no.. The other 2 positions were left open and empty without anything to fill the hole... Odd design...

 

I am almost an all Cobra bag.. I have the F7 and can't wait to see the next iteration..

100% The F9 really seemed to be more draw biased for me, or at the least, not fade biased. It'd be nice to have a bit more adjustability in that regard.

Is the milled face likely to remain? I really like my F9 but I get some odd flights when I play in the rain, I think the milling holds moisture and causes a few strange low spin flights. Anybody else used the F9 in wet conditions?

I presume that means the speed channel is going away? If I recall, they dropped it for the F7 and then brought it back on the LTD and everything going forward. I never really liked it aesthetically and couldn’t figure out what it was for besides removing some weight to put somewhere else?

The pro that I am taking lessons from saw and tested the new driver and fairway. He prefaced the statement that he hasn't and doesn't like cobra products, but said the new driver and fairway are awesome. He stated the new driver blew away the 410 LST he was using. He also said the fairway is amazing in appearance and performance. I will wait and see what it looks like.

I heard from somebody who got to see/hit the SZ that it's "better" than F9 was. I'm really happy to see Cobra doing well in the wood market, I've always really liked their stuff. Their perceived value has always been kind of low so I've always been able to scoop up lightly used stuff for like 50%+ off. MY Epic SZ is very forgiving but it might actually be a little too low spin for me these days. We'll see how things go after I switch to the B XS ball.... This might the year I finally buy a new driver if this thing is good enough.

I also talked to someone that was at the launch event. He stated the new driver was better than the F9. His comments were that if you had an F9 and it was a great fit for you, there would be no reason to change. But if you had spin issues or some minor problems and it wasn't a perfect fit, the new 2020 drivers will solve them. Its an incremental upgrade and it is going to be better but not groundbreaking.

I'm with you. I'm trying to convince myself my it can't be that much better than my Fly-Z+. Realistically it probably won't be, but I'm trying to resist not changing it up just for the sake of changing it up.

I've seen pics of the new driver and I'm definitely getting it, and the fws. I liked almost everything about the F9 series except how busy the crown was. The new driver is sooooo much more aesthetically pleasing to me. Glad I kept my Ventus Blue fw shafts.

Tips will be the same as F9? That would be great to just go straight in with the new heads.

If the pic posted earlier is any indication, I like that the loft is higher and that means I can open the face up a bit and keep the spin down. Also, I really want see the fairway!
