We are looking a SoCal based GolfWRX member who can skip work on Tuesday Sept 17th. Why?

 

We want an 8-15 handicap member to experience a full wedge fitting with a Callaway specialist at ECPC. The winner will also receive a brand new set of built to spec Callaway JAWS MD5 Wedges.

Love the look of the new wedges and love the reviews so far saying how substantially these clubs spin compare to vokeys. Live not too far from Carlsbad and have always wanted to check out the OEMs and their facilities down there! Going through a wedge fitting would be a real good experience with a load of shaft/bounce/grind options!

I’m super intrigued by this new wedge design. I’ve been searching for something I love since the MD3s. Have played Milled Grinds, SM7s and Glides, but can’t seem to get the same happiness as O did with the MD3s. Have never been fit for wedges and would love see how a pro staff gets a hack like me into the right grinds.

I wanted to compare head to head with my SM7s.

 

I want to learn from the fitters and staff at Callaway as much as I can about their wedges and Callaway product/ style- swag in general to be able to guide myself and others in the future.

 

I didn’t have family/ friends who golfed when I started close to 5 years ago so my experience with brands were from purely luck or at fitting opportunities.

First clubs in my hands by chance were Mizuno, then during my first fitting was fit into Titleist- so I naturally explored their line on my own.

PXG, Srixon/ Cleveland are at my range often for demos days but that’s about it.

Been playing the original RTX wedges since they came out. Had a shotty with a rep. Would love to see what a real fit could do to my short game. It definitely needs some work to get to single digits.

As to "why" I would like to do this, it is because of multiple reasons. First, I have been contemplating a new set of wedges as I replace mine about every 6 months. I recently heard about the new Callaway wedges and have been very intrigued by them. Second, I have been through other wedge fittings (including the Vokey experience with Bob), but never had the pleasure of going through a Callaway fitting. Would love to give the wedges a try as well as experience Callaway's facilities! Finally, I'm just a giant club hoe at heart and would love to pass along any and all experiences I have along with the GWRX community if afforded the opportunity!

I've been a fan of Callaway wedges for a while and currently gaming a set of MD Tour Grind 2's. Recently added a MD4 Forged 60 degree to the set, but the blended set feels inconsistent. I’m a HUGE Callaway Golf Supporter. I know how to get to the ECPC. I’ve made the mistake of self-fitting my wedge lofts and grinds based on full swings. My game would benefit tremendously with a proper wedge fitting.

I’m a father of 4 looking for magical wedges that I can’t: shank, chunk, or blade. Being a hard working dad I don’t get a lot of time to play and having a new set of wedges would definitely make me want to play more golf. I love Callaway product and look forward to getting fit too and having someone professionally tell me I have the worst wedge game in California! Lol. Maybe I could even get the kids names stamped in the wedges. I love taking them to play on the course with me when time allows. ?️ ⛳️

I have some old Vokey SM5 I bought online. I have never been fit for wedges or done a proper gap fitting with them. Would love the opportunity to get fit at ECPC. I have watched the Callaway podcasts about this wedge and I am excited to try them. I need help in this area of my game and play frequently at a course with steep bunkers where the extra spin on the Jaws wedges would be greatly appreciated.
