Meh i agree and disagree and sometimes after I round I think I should have enjoyed that more, relaxed and not jumped out of the cart as soon as i put the brake on and immediately hit the next shot.

HOWEVER I, and a lot of other people, have a wife and kids. If I leave an hour before a round to commute and get ready, play a 5 hour round, then take another 30mins to get home...I'm gone the whole damn day and my opportunities to play golf would diminish significantly.

If the group ahead of you is 250 out, waiting for the group on the green to clear before hitting their second shot and proceeds to duff it or hit it 100 yards, they should be kicked off the course or at minimum required to let you play through immediately.

Cant tell you how many times i've seen this happen. Hell they didnt even drive the ball 250, yet they are gonna hit their 3wood 250...OK!

Bryson DeChambeau is a really, real smarty genius.

I love six hour rounds. Hey, I paid my money.

I think it's OK to hold up the course behind you as you hit multiple extra shots and putts. Hey, I paid my money.

I think it's fine if 36 handicaps play from the back tees on a 7,500 yard monster. Hey, they paid their money.

I love hearing Nickelback as loud as possible from golf carts two fairways over.

You played here?

Hey chopper, what are you hitting there?
Callaway Rouge Sub Zero 9°
TM SLDR S 17° 4-wood
Mizuno MP Fli-Hi 21° driving iron

Dynacraft (?) 24° 4-iron
Titleist AP2 710 5-pw
Wilson FG Tour PMP 52, 56, 60°
Rife 460 Tour Blade

After how long does being "out of form" turn into "a bad golfer"?

I will say my home club does not have a slow play problem. In fact, it's arguable that it has a fast play problem. We will play cash games where people have to putt out and sometimes we have 5-somes and everybody is so overly conscious about being labeled as 'slow' we'll often play that 5-some In 3:45 and guys will be jogging to tees complaining that 'we need to speed up.'

I think the slowest round I've ever played there took 4:10.

Since when are we calling people out on their comments. I thought this was a judgement and argument free zone!!

Hey, I hear ya, I've got 2 of my own and a wife to get back to. But if I don't have enough time for both family and golf, that's on me and not the rest of the course and I have to adjust accordingly, either with less golf or playing at a different time, both of which I've done before. I can't expect everybody on the course to cater to my needs.

Yes, 100% of golfers agree that there's no need for fancy uberballs, newly improved clubs every season, training gadgets and gizmos up the wazoo, and the same equipment that the pros use.

Pro golfers should be allowed to use rangefinders, then they wouldn't need caddies

Golf balls should be sold in packs of 15 for the same price as 12. That way a dozen wouldn't cost as much

I have never, nor would I ever even try another ball besides the ball that I play...it's the best

The person with the worst score on a hole should be the first one to tee off on the next hole. Why make them 'just feel worse'?

The real cause of slow play is golfers searching for broken tee heads on the ground at par 3 tee boxes

I liked golf better before Tiger-mania. It was better as a niche sport.

*Anyone who says they walk as fast as carts is FOS

*Golf doesn’t need to grow with people who won’t dress or act appropriately

*Jack Nicholas is pompous and losing his marbles

*playing music on the course reduces you to lowest form of golfer

* The greatest victory event in all of sports is the conversation with Jim Nantz in Butler Cabin

* All courses should be required to make at least one par 3 a par 5. Then more _less experienced_ golfers could get an eagle or albatross and it would help 'grow the game'

* Make a new rule that people in golf leagues are allowed to cheat. There will be some who will break the rule...

* If you aren't sure which driver to buy, but you have it down to two, always ask on a forum which is the best one for you

1. People who complain about “tradition” or “decency” are the worst type of golfer.

2. If an individual has to look at their putts from front, back, and side in a casual game, that individual is the second worst type of golfer.

3. The person complaining about brown spots on a course is a pompous @ss.

4. Slow greens do not speed up play, or improve playability.

5. If a handicap is 12 or above that individual should never receive 100% in a net event.

6. The era of persimmon and balata was not only my favorite period of golf, but also separated the men from the boys.
