I now exclusively use the ruler in the picture. I have a protractor that came with it and set it at 60º and check the ruler when I use it to make sure it still is at 60º. I never use anything else.

Did you get the swivel base for the bending machine? It helps for my setup not only to save on space, but also for lefty clubs. Also, the GW tip laser works great for FLO in conjunction with my homemade spine-finder.

Unfortunately not yet. The second larger table is still in the box. Between never ending work and very young kids, I have hardly had any time to work on it. Did get a chance to play a few holes on the sim today while on client conference calls (thanks Apple for the mute button - one over through four on Hinsdale Golf Club).

Get a plate of 3/8” steel plate that is 10” wide x however long your bending machine is. Bolt your bending machine to it. Then when you mount it to your bench, the device will be really stable when you are bending irons.

If I build a Workbench that is 6ft long x 3ft wide, Mount it to the garage Wall studs and do the steel plate under and below my loft and lie machine will that suffice. I have mine in a vise but the machine slips when I try to bend clubs. Dont want to drill into concrete so.

Likely overkill.  The biggest problem people have is mounting it on something that will flex under pressure/load.   My workbench is fairly solid with a solid top.  All I do is mount it on the bench with 3 bolts that are finger tight.  The steel plate lying on the bench top spreads the load and there is absolutely no flex when I bend a club.  It's nothing special.  Just a solid top.  Back when the bench was pristine.  I stripped most of the stuff I don't need off of the Angle Machine and rarely use the top right bolt.  It's seen 1000's of clubs.

I agree with Socrates, I have my loft/lie machine mounted to my workbench with 4 heavy duty bolts and it works fine, no steel plates, the workbench is fairly stout but it's not bolted down to the wall or floor.

A long time ago, I realized/figured out that my tools were just that - tools.  No reason why I couldn't drill holes or alter them so that they fit where I wanted them to go.  Don't be constrained by a current setup when a slight alteration will make it better.

I have the golfwork economy bending machine so I planned on buying a steel plate that will allow that pressure to be relieved elsewhere! Thoughts? Bench top is going to be quite sturdy and heafty!

I would make sure the plate is at least 3/8" and at least 6-8 inches wide.  The economy has a fairly narrow base and you need to make sure it is securely attached to the plate so it has no chance of moving.  Use high grade bolts that won't snap under load.
