I don't think so. Shaft lengths are dramatically different from one another. And, the lies are very flat. Could be a unique configuration.

It doesn't, you may be right. They need more tech info on these clubs if they expect to sell any. Those's lies are very flat for PW, 8, 6, and 4 irons though.

True, but the lie angles are 1.0 degree increments. So I’d be surprised if the lengths aren’t 1.0” increments, same progression as a 2 club gap.

I'm still smitten with this set though. I love the 7, 8, 9 loft degree gaps.

Miura would never put their name on anything that wasn't top quality. This may not be for you, but the level of quality is second to none. Miura has tighter tolerances than any club manufacturer, and spends much more time on every club than anyone else. Some see $325 a club, and they think it's overpriced. But if you learn about their heat once, strike twice forging, proprietary spin fused hosel, WDD post process and 14 step grinding process, you would understand why Miuras are worth every penny. BTW, all Miura irons are around $325 a club, so it's not inflated for this collab. I love the idea for a sunday set!

They cost the same as individual irons from Miura. You won't get the color on them, but these look like MB101s, which are $325/club from Miura direct. One cool thing though is you really can go nuts with customization if you order from MG in Japan. You'll need to go through TourSpec or maybe Miura in AZ can order for you, but you can get all sorts of crazy grinds, custom toe rounding or squared, thinner or thicker toplines, custom weighting, really anything goes when you order direct from Japan. The options are endless.

I think this is a great idea. It would be a nice set for a par 3 course or a lighter walking bag. I do think adding a Sand wedge makes sense. The QC issues claim is ridiculous, Miura would never do that. I bet we see more of this with some tweaking in lofts, options and designs. A serious buyer can find a 15% off coupon and free shipping with minimal effort. I personally bought a set that way. This may not be for everyone, but I like it.

Hey Guys,
Long time reader, first time writer. I picked up a set of these and played 18 with them yesterday. Threw a 59 degree Miura in the bag, 3-wood, driver and the flat stick. Let me just tell you... they are awesome!
I've had a short set in the back of my mind all year so when the 33% coupon code worked... I immediately pulled the trigger. Didn't even ask the boss :)
First of all, @Steele47 was spot on LOL. "Can't believe that shot fell short. Honestly thought yellow was plenty of stick." We had some good laughs about the colors! Ideally, I would have liked to have the loft stamped on the sole, but I get that it was a collaboration and they are unique.
Turf interaction is classic Miura. They glide through the turf and allow you to work the ball any which way you please, which is definitely needed when playing this set. Short sets really demand the power draw & sawed off cut shot to hold the greens when in between clubs... and that work-ability leads me to the $-Taper.
I grew up playing DG x100's my whole life. Switched to the KBS Tour 130x when I got my first set of Miura's (baby blades) a few years ago and it took me a while to transition to the KBS Tour shaft. I wanted to get rid of the high spinner and the KBS Tour definitely took care of it, but I lost some feel. The $-Taper in my opinion is the best of both worlds. I chose the $-Taper 130x. It feels almost identical to the x100's in that you can feel the head weight immediately. BUT I didn't hit a single high spinny cut that comes up 10 yards short with them. I really liked they way they felt and I'm considering re-shafting my gamers.
Back to the heads. They're beautiful. Slightly bigger than the baby blades, not sure how they compare to the 001's or 101's. Sweet spot is closer to the middle of the face than the hosel though. Minimal offset. Better transition from the hosel to the top line than the baby blades. Slightly rounded face/leading edge on the purple (49 degree?) whatever!! Enjoy the pics

Nice looking clubs. If I ever went the short set route I’d put PING Dyla-Wedge grips on them. The extra length and reduced taper makes them seem like a good option if you’re going to be hitting a lot of 1/2 or 3/4 shots.

i think if you just added a 3 wood and a putter and have fun. You are going to have to

be creative and that would add to the enjoyment. Sometimes it’s not always about posting a score,

but just trying to pull off a shot that you normally wouldn’t try if you had a full set.

Crazy idea.... Buy Cobra One Length forged irons. Throw away every second one (or give them to buddy, bonus). You then have a half set that you can fiddle a bit of length out of (choke down on a W, play it back in the stance to deloft etc). You'll have 4 clubs that will give you more shot making options than these 4. You and your buddy can split them for $200 each, + driver + putter + nice bag + lob wedge. You're all in for under $1300 with a half decent custom fit if you try hard enough.

Lovely looking clubs, but why wouldn't you just take out the odds or evens in your current set? I do that at this time of year when (in the UK) it's wet and muddy. Makes it much easier to carry. Negligible affect on score, if any.

They discussed these on the Golf Channel. Matty G explained that they were made for the "minimalist movement". Specifically designed for those people only carrying a few clubs, short courses, etc.
