I’ve putted with Cams for about 22 years of various styles. Won a lot of golf tournaments with a Newport 2 Mid-Slant Pro Platinum but over time my stroke grew even more square-to-square and a face balanced putter felt better. Then the center shafts came along and I’ve been there largely since then.

The SC PhantomX 6 is a somewhat funky looking flat stick. Exemplified below:

But - it’s rock solid. Very well balanced and if anything a little on the overall heavy side for my taste. Stock grip feels really good to me.

ive found that like many mallets or center shafts, it’s a very strong piece from say 7 feet and in. really good.

Due to the weight, it’s a little different from long range than I’m used to. It took me a little getting used to but once you have the speed dialed in it’s really really consistent.

Its also surprisingly soft in terms of feel - like really soft. Part of thats the weight but it’s still very soft feeling - almost more like an old-school odyssey in some ways.

Once you get calibrated in this thing it feels really great. I managed to roll 26 Putts the other day with it and made a few from long range - I’m happy with the change.

My only gripe is it you putt largely by feel - meaning you perhaps stand over it until you can “see” the putt - this one takes a minute to get used to - but once you learn the stick it’s a very solid and useful stick.
