Funny how the real shot in this video shows just how much room is needed… and the marketing photo at the end of the video looks like you need about 5 feet total. If you guys all own a huge house, good on ya.

FYI: The 1.17 (33) update is supposed to deal with bugs relating to:

 

1. Net mode missing shots

2. Outdoor shots missing spin

 

(Have not had a chance to confirm this. But did notice that net mode was missing shots like some one else mentioned previously)

Where are you getting the info on what the firmware update includes? I’ve looked around a bit but haven’t found anything.

Anyone know how that will work? Will we tell the FSK that we are using a range ball and then tell it we normally play ProV1 (for example)? Or is this a more automatic feature?

So how does Tiger use this without outdoor spin and normalization being dialed in?

He uses his playing ball at all times when practicing. He doesn’t need normalization

Can't help you there - didn't know it had spin issues outdoors.

The FSK actually tracks spin quite well. The issue that has been fixed is that recently for a few shots--I'd say less than 10%--Spin dis not capture.

Update made a difference for me.  The app and ease of navigation is top notch, in fact the best I've seen between any LM.

Has the latest firmware slowed down the FSK for anyone else? I feel like it’s taking a bit longer to “reset” for the next shot, at least indoors. Previously I don’t recall it ever missing a shot, but last couple times I’ve had to give it a couple more seconds in between balls.

Nice little video from the guys here on GolfWRX.  Seems like the unit is extremely accurate outdoors.  I am nowhere near buying a LM yet.  But, I am keeping an eye on the space and doing a lot of dreaming.  The Full Swing Kit really seems to be getting a lot more attractive to me compared to the BLP/GC3.  Mainly, I am not a fan of the high cost of the subscriptions to unlock features.  If I get to the point of pulling the trigger, I hope the FSK is as accurate indoors as it seems to be outside.

It won't be without a significant amount of room and a non-interfering environment.

 

Not to say that there's anything wrong with the unit, just being realistic about the use of radar indoors. Even X3 and Trackman have some compromises.

I spoke to someone over at Full Swing yesterday and was told that golf ball normalization update has been pushed back till November

I thought the FSK was originally priced at $4000 (USD). I am close to pulling the trigger on one and noticed they are now $5000... is the site just pricing it in CDN$, or did they jack the price up 25%?

Disregard. Was able to find the answer... appears they jacked the price up from $4000 to $5000.

It seems as soon as they really tightened their numbers to where its better than trackman they increased the price. I also suspect they were taking a beating on the increase in cost on chips.

I've got one I would cut you a deal on.  I bought it about this time last year. Nothing wrong with it, I'm just not using it as much as I thought I would and recently found out we have a kid on the way so could use the money. PM if you're interested.
