Z 785 Driver and F85 fairways- any long term reviews

I don't have experience with the driver but i did bag the fairway for half a season last year. I can confidently say that it is one of the longest if not the longest fairway wood I've ever play. That being said, I miss left with it quite frequently. From my understanding, the lie angle is more upright than most fairway woods. My typical misses are left so the f85 wasn't going to help me in a high pressure situation during a tournament. If I had access to a custom head with a flatter lie, then it would still be in the bag.

agree with above post. I only had the driver for 2 months and it was honestly very good and I wish I stuck with it longer...the 3w I had for about 6 months and it was an absolute monster on ball speed. For me I had better ball speeds with the f85 than I did m6. I prefer an upright lie in my woods, but like mentioned above its pretty upright. M6 was more accurate and less side movement compared to f85. f85 definitely had a tendency to draw, with the bad misses being big low hooks

with fairways I dont miss too often so im certainly not saying anything negative about the f85... I just happened to have more bad shots with f85 than I did m6. With that being said, especially on sale now, grab an f85 and you won't regret it. Very under appreciated club IMO

Played the driver and 3w since release. Driver is long when struck well, not forgiving at all. 3w doesn't care where you hit it, it's just long. There are days I hit the 3w further than the driver.

I bought the Mavrik Sub Zero about a month ago and it lasted two rounds, I like the Srixon more.

I have the F85 5 wood and it is the beat fairway wood I have ever played. It is so long I have no need to play a 3 Wood.

Srixon needs to make their fairway woods adjustable. im in-between lofts and its the only reason i havent bought the 3 wood.

One of the reasons I looked at the Srixon was the fixed hosel. With the smaller club head, would rather they use that weight strategically.

Funny I have the same problem and I just checked. The lie angle is 59* (more upright than my hybrids) which is the same as an M6, M4 and M2 and that's why I never considered those. I bought the Srixon head I have new/used for so cheap ($75.00)I had to try it and I never checked the lie angle. And the posts above are correct. It's maybe the most forgiving fairway wood I've ever hit. Despite the deep face and mine being a 13.5* with a Rogue shaft I have no problem getting it up in the air off the deck. But it does have a tendency to draw more than I'd prefer. I have my old Adams (57*)that is pretty anti-left, but it's not near as forgiving. I've been eyeing M5 and SIM (57.5*) both due to the occasional left shots with the Srixon, but it's really hard to give up that forgiveness. And it does get out there pretty good.

The value on these looks amazing, especially with the reasonable priced upgraded shaft options. Get this brand new with a Pro Blue for 300 bucks seems awesome.
