Weiskopf was a very good player, his resume speaks for it's self. I was trying to make a point relavant to other PGA players. I am sure Weiskopf had a better short game and putter than most anyone on this forum but when all was said and done he was viewed as an underacheiver. I was using Weiskopf as a comparison to Adam Scott, whom has a very pretty swing, his short game is not up to snuff compared to most of the PGA Tour, and his swing seems to fall apart on the 72nd hole when he needs a clutch shot. I read an interview with TW and he acknowledged that playing in the same era as Nicklaus and being compared to him was very difficult. BTW my favorite golf quote of all time is during the 1986 Masters when Jack Whitaker (???) asked TW what was going through Jack's mind right now, and his unscripted instantanious response was "If I knew what Jack was thinking I would have won this tournament" classic. I think when it is all said and done AS career will be viewed much like Weiskopf's, probably one major and about 20 wins on the PGA tour, not bad, but very border line Hall of Fame.

Somebody once said TW could do everthing that Jack could do with less effort but think.

I was referring to Day saying Tiger had lots of time and was watching him on TV, Like I said before this kid made some stupid remarks and from what I have heard has not apologized. If they were taken out of context in time he will redeem himself if not we will have another Sabbatini with as far as I can see less game. I said it before I hope I am wrong about this kid I really do.

Hey guys, seeing as this is one of my first few posts. I figured i'd make it worthwhile.

I know Jason personally, and to say he is disrespectful and he is arrogant is so far from the truth its quite laughable. It does seem you people out there are quick to judge a person on a single interview, or statement. I can say that Jason is a very motivated individual and has his sights set on becoming the very best golf professional he can be. His work ethic on the course is outstanding which is more than i can say for some, the comment previously stated "cruising" does come to mind. He is a very polite person and certainly isn't outspoken person.

I've known Jason now for about 4 years now, and watching him "evolve" as a player he certainly now has the ability and the game to match it with the best in the world, yes, that includes Tiger Woods. He has massive asparations and the drive to achieve them.

Give Jason a chance to prove himself on the US Tour and if he wins an event or two, good on him.

And we didn't need to go to war. If we, as a country, stop acting so arrogant and think that we can fix everything, people in other countries might, just might, leave us alone. We have enough INTERNAL problems here in our own backyard. But who cares, lets start one giant war with everyone we think needs fixing. But again this is a topic for a much different forum. But I would love for you to PM me on why needed to go to war with Iraq. I always need a good laugh.
