Right now I’m leaning towards the my Jewel head shape in SS with a twisted flow neck. Putter is a 15 year anniversary present.  Got married in Colorado at Red Rocks amphitheater so I’m thinking of having the coordinates put in the cavity.  Trying to come up with a simple design that’s unique without being too over designed and artsy.

Awesome place to get married. I wonder if Josey could make some kind of cavity inset that looks like the iconic red rock. Or maybe he could just etch the rock fold pattern into the cavity. Just endless ideas you can use with this theme.

That's a very cool idea maybe even get the logo of the rocks on the sole, kinda inconspicuous logo unless you know what it is, remove the Red Rocks and maybe put Mack Made, etc. Just an idea to get the creative juices flowing.

A bucket list item for me is a Dave Matthews concert at RR, need to check that off the list

Got to see Dave 4 times at Red Rocks and once on campus at the University of Colorado.  He always puts on an amazing show.

Funny you guys are bringing this up..I had a deposit down with Mack Made (I had to back out..long story) but he was going to do a “tribute” with B.O.W.A in cavity and fire dancer on the sole

Thank you for the pics.   @MattM97 @jonradus.  Think I need to incorporate the iconic red rock in some way.  Might see if he can use the logo like Matt suggested.  Not sure about copy right laws though.   Love the community at golfwrx.

Nice, I saw him a bunch in STL when I lived there.

Either of these red rocks images in a contrast (blasted/polished look) on the sole would be awesome. I like the idea of the coordinates too. Initials on bumpers and your anniversary date in the cavity would be a nice touch too. I love when people go super personal with putter builds. It is a nice refresher from the norm.

I've been contemplating a custom build for some time, lots of searches over the past few months. This thread and Flatstick focus made it an easy decision. I put my deposit down 4 weeks ago. Extremely excited to get the go time text in the future. Josey has been nothing but a cool dude in our initial conversations.

 

Thinking a tribute with a flow neck, but a long slant neck is not out of the question. Going to keep it simple and try to highlight Josey's tig skills with a touch of potential for future patina. Graduation present to myself, with a theme of "Sunk Cost". Can't wait.

Dude is a wizard with the tig torch.. Also Had him throw a stainless pipe neck on a carbon Byron and refinish it for me.. Couldn’t have turned out better 🔥

Had Josey build me a one-of-a-kind roller. Just got the photos, should have it in hand next week. Can't say enough good things about him and his process. So much fun to build something from scratch, I highly recommend it.

I've been playing an FX by Ram for a while now.  It was given to me by a friend. I've caught the bug to start collecting some 8802 style putters.  I might have to put The Gramps on my Christmas list.

Was thinking stainless torched with the welded slant neck, but might end up doing stainless torched with a twist plumber's neck--seems like it's not a bad idea to just have a sick 009 shape around as an option and a keepsake. Will definitely have some personal design features.

I don’t know about the other necks he offers, but his plumbers neck sets up really well.
