I need to build my whole bag around the PING Z-Z115 wedge shaft!!!

Besides being made by Nippon does anyone what flex it is? I love the weight, sound & feel of this shaft. I assume you would use a 105 gram in the irons like the Modus 105? What would you put in your driver, fairway & hybrids?

I decided to try this shaft in some wedges since it seems like PING is sticking with it.

 

It is lighter than usual, raw weight is 117 grams. But unlike some other light shafts the feel is great. Just lots of feel around the greens. I would say flex is something around stiff which isn't surprising. The launch isn't super high like you might expect from a lighter wedge shaft.  If you're looking for something similar in irons I think you're on the right track. Modus Tour 105 or 115, Project X IO, DG 120, KBS Tour stiff, something like that.

its much softer than my KBS 125  hi rev 2 wedge

I agree it's a soft stiff. The KBS Hi-Rev 125 is basically a KBS Tour X 8-iron shaft.

I have this shaft in my glide 3.0 54 degree and love it.  Reminds me of the hi-rev 2.0 115 I had in my hi-toe lob wedge.  Not much help for irons and woods unfortunately.

I use the modus tour 105 with R flex in i500 irons.  I did the swing weight in the PW to D4 9 iron to D3 and then reduced to D2 for all others up to 4 iron.  Use the glide 3.0 58, 54 and 50 wedges with the ZZ115 shafts and they match up well for the gapping distance and feel.

Closest to Z115 is AWT.
