Are the weights actually adjustable, or did SC screw with us again?

I have heard that you will be able to buy extra sole weights from Authorized Titleist Dealers to switch out however you would like! Good news if that is TRUE!

This concept is right along the lines of the MacGregor Bobby Grace M2 putter with the adjustable weights in the sole. You can pick up the weight kits on ebay for around $35.00 and the putter for $50-75.00 or so.

I like the SC putter...maybe they will have some at the PGA show in January to show off?

Glad to see it's a non-insert model...and the adjustable weights is great. Just like the Macgregor series or the YES Dianna model...

Allows you to customize your weight so that after market length changes won't necessarily have an adverse effect the swing weight. As long as it doesn't affect the feel or performance...I see good things and OF COURSE it gives Cameron the opportunity for a follow-up sale on the weight kit.

The standard $300 most likely. The weights and the wrench are going to be pretty expensive I think

How does it putt? I cant decide whether or not I like all the stuff all over it, it looks too red and too "busy".

However, I do like the basic design of it though...

Weight changing, as well as a host of new customization options, will be available at Scotty's Custom Shop so that players may dial in their Studio Select putter exactly according to their preferences. Additionally, 34" and 35" Studio Select H putters will be available custom order from Titleist with heavier heads (10g more than standard) in mid April, 2008.

 

 

My guess is Scotty wont dare let us heathens change his clubs!

I walked into my local Nevada Bob's, the clerk knows am a putter junkie and said she had a surprise, she handed me a Studio Select Newport 2, I loved the looks, the grip (slightly bigger than the usual Cameron grips) was also top notch, cord to make it even better, the price? a prefered customer discounted price of $249.

 

I felt like a kid in a candy store, plopped 3 brand new Pro-V1's and got ready for the sheer pleasure I "knew" was coming, then nothing, nothing as a dead feeling, tried again, dead center, again, nothing, dead.

 

I wanted to like this putter , 20 minutes later and about 20 putts, I walked out disapointed and with empty hands.
