Geneva National vs Grand Geneva

Staying at hotel with family next week in Lake Geneva on vacation. I am going to play early morning golf because of the heat Tuesday or Wednesday and was wondering what course to pick between the Brute, Highlands, Palmer course, and Player course. Two of them at Grand Geneva and other two at Geneva National. I am most interested in scenery and elevation changes. I originally had my mind made up on the Brute because it is considered the best course out of the 4 but after looking at some pics it just seems cool because how hard it is. The other three look more fun. Any recommendations?

While the resort at Grand Geneva is fun, The Brute golf course itself is an overrated mess. Go with any of the 3 courses at Geneva National. I played the Player course and it was enjoyable. Another option is Hawksview which is close by and easily eclipses either of the Grand Geneva courses.

For Scenery and Elevation changes then go with Hawks View. Its just a 10 min drive from Grand Geneva

I agree. Hawks View is kind of forgotten but a very fun track.

Geneva National Courses are light years better than Grand Geneva. Course conditioning at the Brute is awful, if it wasnt at a resort in Lake Geneva it would be a $40 round, it's just not worth going to anymore. Hawks View is good, but I would lean Geneva National just slightly, good condition and 3 courses to pick between.

Agree with all of the above. I actually like the Highlands at Grand Geneva more than the Brute, but it’s still not as good as any of the Geneva National courses (or Hawks View).
