True Temper Elevate 105 questions? available in .355 tips for reshafting?

Does anyone know if these are available in taper tip?

Currently in XP95 and wanting to do a genuine Iron fitting to for ideal shaft and weight combo but it’s been difficult to find time plus bad back...

As I research this I’m remembering that I think my Apex CF16 5i was a .370 tip head yet I had it reshafted with the rest of my irons (6-Pw) that are .355. I’m assuming the builder just made it work somehow?

I may need to replace my 7i soon as it’s getting pretty worn from practice (thus I’ll replace 6 and 7 or 5-7) and I’m trying the new version of same club (Apex Pro). The older version of the Mizuno shaft optimizer always recommends Modus 105 S but I like the feel and numbers from the Elevate 105 and it’s same weight. My local store surprisingly doesn’t have the Modus to try. Not sure I want fo blindly reshaft my set and maybe lower flight without a proper fitting. I could maybe do the Elevate 95 as it’s my current shaft weight but would like to try that 105.

Ordering a 7i only from CPO to practice and compare the head but can only get it in Modus 105 or Elevate Tour (117).

I dont believe so. The 95 and 105 are both parallel only as they are 'OEM' shaft models for box sets. The 'Tour' is the only taper model.

The 95 is available in .355 and .370 which led me to ask the question. I’d imagine if the 95 are then the 105 is or would be but you’re right I don’t see them on True Temper or a retail site.

You've got constant weight shafts in your irons right now with the Elevate 95 (.355). If you go Elevate 105 (.370 only) you get into a descending weight iron set, is that something you want? I find your opening post somewhat confusing, are you going to just replace certain irons in your set that show more wear? The new Apex Pro is a different construction from the last generation and probably won't perform the same in terms of spin and distance. If you are going to replace 3 irons, why not just purchase a complete set of 6-P with properly fitted shafts?

i don’t play a complete set of Apex Pro. Just the 6i and 7i. 5i is the CF16 and 8-PW is the 2018 Apex MB. I have lofts all adjusted to have proper gaps. I’m aware the ‘19 Apex Pro is different construction. I’ve been testing the 7i just not with the same shaft I play currently (XP95). I’ve been testing Modus 105 and the Elevate range. I think the different make in the Apex Pro is going to help me especially in the 6i and likely allow me to use it in the 5i over the regular Apex.
