Ping G710 delayed dely

I just ordered a set but won’t get rid of my current baggage until they are in hand.   
 

course as soon as I ordered the ie1s have started to outperform their recent history.  Actually my recent lessons are finally working their ways into my swing.

As an update ~~~ I had my head pro call and cancel my order with Ping last Friday.  I figured I might as well wait for the newest lines to be announced.  Ping said that the order couldn't be cancelled because they were in the build stage.  Pro said don't worry he'd sell them if I didn't want them but what the "H" I'll take em.  Now waiting on UPS.

I've been waiting exactly one month for G710's, but I can't play for a few more months due to rotator cuff surgery so it's moot point..

I ordered my set end of August.  Was told by my shop they should be in beginning of next week, which is about what they told me when I ordered.  I will only have about a month left of outdoor golfing but still looking forward to using them the rest of this fall.

I’m hoping I get my set before the season ends in Michigan. I would like to play a few rounds with them to see the turf interaction. Going from +.75 to +.50 length.

I'm a little worried as well coming from T100Ss which have great turf interaction for me.  Just looking to try something out thats a little more forgiving (or a lot more perhaps).  I also like just trying different stuff lol.

The G710 is a brand new model that will probably not be updated for another 2 years.

About 20 years ago Ping chose to have their heads produced in China, and that was a sad time in the history of the company. One of Ping founder Karsten Solheim's convictions was to produce heads within the USA, but Karsten's heirs abandoned that, as well as several other of his business policies and design convictions.

I received my i500 set today. My wait time was 2 wks 4 days. I was very surprised they came that fast.

Got a call from my shop that my g710s are in.  Ordered August 31st so 5 weeks for mine.  Not too bad all things considered.

Mine took about a month.   Played with them today.  Well worth the wait.  Had a few shots that worked as planed.  A few that just missed the plan.  But, over all, shot a best round at a course I’m not that good on in the past.  Wait for em and enjoy your round when they do arrive.

Canceled my order yesterday.  Placed in June and they said 2 to 3 weeks from yesterday.  I believe the UST smac wrap shafts are the problem.

Right now, six weeks would be outstanding.  Aside from the supply issues, they can't keep up with the orders of this head.  Demand is crazy.

Aug 26 = 7 weeks so far for me and still waiting for a set with Recoils.

I know.  We're having issues too.  I've been waiting since July and my sticks just arrived last week.  They're trying to grind through the backlog, but it's been an absolute show in trying to get these.

Ordered glide 3.0 gap wedge yesterday. Told November 1st so sadly it’s all across the board. I think that’s why you see the value of used clubs creeping up here lately

2 weeks for almost anything else about right for them right now.    We're not having issues with other PING items thus far (knocking on my imitation wood desk)...

For the first full year of G700 there was typically a month or longer wait for a full set. Ping imports the iron heads from China and maintains relatively little inventory, so it's not unusual for them company to have no inventory of 2 or 3 lofts at any given time.

Ordered a custom set of G710 irons 4-SW on Sept. 27th from Golf galaxy.  Golf pro told me immediately there was a 8 week wait.  

 

Also ordered a new Ping carry bag, 14 hoofer.  Placed that order over a week ago and no shipping update. 

 

One day I will get what I paid for and I am sure it will be worth the wait.

The more exotic the specs and shafts, the more likely a delay is going to occur. I always tell people to forget about the order and play what they got and don't think about it (easy to say, not so easy to do). As stated most delays are component delays and beyond the control of the manufacturers in these crazy times. Good luck to all.

There must still be quite a delay for all Ping irons. The stores in my area have no Ping irons of any model in inventory and no idea when they will get any.

I cant believe you are still waiting for those.  I received mine in about 5 weeks.  My local shop has two sets of the g710s in stock.  But they have only 2 left handed 3 woods and I hybrid...no drivers at all.  Strange year.

I ordered blueprint irons last week and was told 4-5 weeks, they have to order the shafts but have the heads in stock.
