The place is nice, fairly small and small selection of good cigars. Prices were what you would expect for the neighborhood. We were the 1st customers on Sunday, my son who goes there occasionally with his fellow LEO's says it gets real crowded on weekend nights. It would only take 20 or so people to make it feel real small inside.

Gotten to where I love these budget friendly A.Fuente Gran Reserva’s. Easy afternoon smoke.

2nd! Jut got a box of the Selec Priv No.1 Natural. I tend to lean towards the Cameroon wrapper more than the Shade Grown though.

 

At my local shop with buying a box I think they come out to $7per

 

For on course I do love a low maintenance/slow burn stick and the Unico Ratzilla is perfect for that!

Have had the pleasure of hanging out with Pete multiple times, he even made a custom cigar for our group's beer event.  Sitting around smoking and drinking in my buddy's garage with Pete and Casper is definitely a cigar highlight.  That same group of ours got invited to a private week in Nicaragua with Pete and the Garcia family, but unfortunately I tore my Achilles and couldn't go!

both times I was invited to Nic I couldn’t swing the work schedule. Then ‘Rona killed a lot of the trips.

Any good one from any maker is great with the right atmosphere and beverage to smoke it with imo.

Someone gave me a Siglo VI at our member guest and it blew me away. Only after looking up what it cost trying to buy some did I realize how generous he was. 

 

Fuente Don Carlos #2 is my favorite all time regular production cigar and great on the golf course. I don’t love spicy Nicaraguan cigars in general. Fuente dominates my humidor.

It was a great Event as always, we toured LFD and Davidoff, three great dinners. Way too much drinking and smoking, but that is what it is all about.

Went through multiple boxes of SD4 back in the day, too many to count.  Was my favorite cuban robusto, followed closely by the RASS.

 

Sadly, the cuban cigar market has become utterly ridiculous (especially when the quality of tobacco in all other countries continues to elevate).  At one point 15-20 years ago I had 200+ boxes of cubans in my walk-in.  My palate has shifted to Nicaraguan tobacco - there is no cuban cigar available that has that spice.

I have tried a lot of cubans and was only really impressed once. For me Dominicans rule for taste and value, of course I am biased and going there next week.

That being said a proper blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco really make an interesting smoke.
