I just noticed he updated his site, has a 3D configurator for the 9306 and just released the 9307 as well (finally!!) but the one thing I didn't see is LH options, I'd hope it's just the 3D rendering or early stages. I hope that LH is still an option cause as mentioned I would like to reorder again in the future.

They did say the 9307 would be coming in the "upcoming months" in left hand.  I ordered a 9310 this spring and had it within a couple of weeks, but there were no custom options as far as stamping/logos/color/etc. offered.  You were able to choose pyramid or standard mill, shaft and grip though.  Great putter.  @MattM97's old 9306 is great too!

That's both good and bad to know, I just wanted a different cavity but hey if I can get it in a few weeks and it's close to spec I'm good with that too. 

 

Also good to hear you're enjoying that, miss a few things about that putter but there is a reason I sold it and want to reorder it.

KB announced the new config and the website is fully updated. I asked about lefties and got the "nothing at the moment" response so probably will be at some point, hopefully.

Another update this time KB has released an updated 9306-2.0. It's more squared off, thinner top line and doesn't look like there is a flange step either. 

 

I know I said I wanted another 9306 but I think the 2.0 will be the one I get.

The 2.0 sold me, I have been tinkering with ordering a 9306 but as soon as I saw the 2.0 I ordered immediately!! ETA is end of July and I can't wait!

That one definitely seems more in your wheelhouse for what you like. 

 

I'll wait for that and maybe the 9307 to be available in LH. Honestly I'm in no rush for another putter, he'll get my money when they come out.

Well it came in this week!! Thinking of a blue KBS shaft to match the flame or that be too over the top for a simple classy putter?

Chrome GPS can keep it classy. 

 

Also surprised you went with the Pyramid Grooves, don't you like firmer faces? These are not mush but lack the "click" to my ear.

Yes and no. I like feel if that makes sense. So is it softer then the piretti I'm playing now, yes. Does it still have plenty of feedback and feel? Yes. Time will tell, I've been playing smooth faced putters for the awhile now so I'll be curious to get it in the mix. I will say quality and craftsmanship is off the charts to me though!!!

That's fair enough and yeah there is still lots of feedback with that milling and it does put a crazy good roll on the ball.

 

KB is definitely one of the most under rated putter makers.

Exactly. You have certain top brands which I won't name but pretty much all of them have little feel to me anymore. Hence one of the reasons why I play the smaller boutique brands. Yes he is underrated and not sure why he doesn't have a larger presence in the putter market. I've had plenty of other putters on the higher end and this quality is right above pretty much everything!

Played the past 3 days with the long neck 9306 2.0 in the bag and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Should have played it more this year. Puts such a great/pure roll on the ball! 18 holes Saturday with 27 putts and went -3 the final 4 holes with 4 one putts on those holes!! Can't remember the last time my Piretti in the bag has been threatened like this haha

KB posted a teaser of a lefty 9306-2.0 on his story so looks like those are coming back. I'd snatch one up but right now is not the time for me to grab one with a few things going on. But for other lefties it's a good sign, I'll see if I can snag a screenshot from his story.

anyone else notice that on the website/design UI for the 9306 2.0, the top of the shoulders are parallel with the bumpers, but in every actual photo of the 2.0 it looks like the top of the shoulders are parallel to the topline..? I wish it were actually the former-- like that look a little better

Now have an almost identical twin just with different milling to test face feel. Already a few rolls inside and the pyramid grooves are definitely softer then regular milling. Still love the pyramid feel though

Anyone replace the shaft on there Burns and know the tip diameter? I assume it's .370 but if anyone could confirm that would be great.

I know the 9306 2.0 is a .370 tip and believe they all use the same neck. Also quick tip from Burns is to only use mineral spirits to clean the neck so it won't mess with the finish of neck/putter
