I have my doubts for 2023 but if Cabot's name is on it, it will be world class.

Unless they are operating under  an exclusive, limited number of rounds played business model,  I am skeptical of the location/ elevation.

 

revelstoke will have  inferior weather and a shorter season than other areas in interior of BC.

Considering the track record of the developers, the course will likely be good.

 

(one quibble: calling it ‘Cabot Pacific’ on its website seems a stretch.  Reno, Nevada is closer to the Pacific Ocean but I doubt those residents think they are near the coast.)

I don't see it being any different then greywolf for the shortened season... price it high and they will come..isnt that the motto.. lol

Isnt the fairmont/radium valley (leeward) better for weather than revelstoke (windward)? Warmer and less precipitation...

Revy does get the snow in the winter... not sure what the difference would be in spring or summer... I would guess the season would be short in Revelstoke.. early to mid may until end of Sept possibly 

Looks as though greywolf is around 3700 feet and revy ski hill is 1600 feet.. the golf course will be built below

The course will have a west exposure. I would expect it to have a longer season than Greywolf, but shorter that Radium/Invermere.

This winter in Revelstoke has been completely bare at valley bottom. IE: zero snow holding, all winter long.

 

I've been playing for the last 2 weeks, so I expect that in some warmer years, people will show up in late March/early Apr - armed with the aim of both skiing and golfing. The season will most positively end when October/November roll around and it is perpetually raining. 

 

Anyway, course is going to be a looker. Walked the property recently. Cabot boys know how to do it better than anyone in this country.

Things are moving...slowly. I will post some pictures the next time I am up in Revelstoke. It is a fantastic property though.

I spoke to someone recently and the land clearing is under way..it sounded as though the tentative opening was going to be pushed back

Some updates and pictures posted here.  Official site here. Named Cabot Revelstoke, which is far better than Cabot Pacific that was a silly  and inaccurate name given it is 800 km from the ocean)...  [*edit* - they are still calling the course "Cabot Pacific" but the resort and website "Cabot Revelstoke".  Weird.]

 

Looks amazing, but at least two summers away from play, based on those sources.
