Srixon Irons wait time.

Local store here asked their Srixon rep what estimated delivery would be on combo set. Was told 2 weeks based on what I was ordering.  Not sure if this is accurate but will be placing order tomorrow anyway.

I had 4 weeks with one set and 5 days with a UT order that had an off-menu MMT 105TX

 

Just ordered 2 more through a buddy’s contact, and was quoted 3-4 weeks delivered

They're golf clubs. I'm sorry, but it's just not the end of the world. And I can say that as someone who received a partial shipment of 4 irons.

 

Srixon, Ping, Taylormade, Titleist, they're all having delays. Haven't you noticed your FedEx, UPS, and USPS packages are hellishly slow lately? It's called an ongoing global pandemic, it's not just incompetence. I'm sure Srixon and other manufacturers wish they sell and ship clubs faster. There's not some greater conspiracy here. Do you really want to be that guy?

 

Super glad I don't have to work customer service for a golf company.

Ordered custom combo set of ZX5 4–5, 6-A ZX7 with custom length, and 130 $ Tapers on 2/20 through golf galaxy and received a fedex ship notification this morning that a package shipped. Can’t wait to see how much of the set was built.

Ordered a combo set through a local dealer yesterday in Salt Lake City.  ZX5 5-7,  ZX7 8-AW.  Recoil shafts, 1/2" longer.  The store was told it would be five to six weeks.  Of course, I'm hoping it will be half that. Great irons, can't wait to get them into my bag and on the course.

Ordered through my rep on February 2. combo set with i95 SF shafts. GP 360 tour velvet grips. was told 3 weeks and received yesterday. pretty happy with that.

Maybe one of you guys lives near Srixon HQ near Huntington Beach, CA and can run over there and speak with the manufacturing manager and demand to get some answers!!  🙂

All joking aside, sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the grease. They might just magically find the components to complete your order. Also, I know Taylormade sent golf balls to a bunch of people that were concerned on the wait on their P770 and P7MC irons last fall. Srixon should really consider using the money they waste on shipping partial orders on something like that instead, even if it's just a two-pack sampler or something.

Folks, if you are recently ordering with GP Tour Velvets you may want to contact your rep ASAP and say you are OK with the SuperStroke S Tech grips that Srixon is offering as replacements instead. Just now hearing that the stock GP grips are on "significant" backorder, somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 weeks.

Lamkin Crossline are on back order as well. I had called customer service Monday morning and finally received a call back today. My order is ready...except they don’t have the grips. I suggested they put whatever in the box since I was asking for them loose in box anyways(adding pros of inserts). To which I was told the place ordering needed to call to make changes. So hopefully that was accomplished today and my order will go out soon.

My order was delayed due to grips (z cords). But they received more and so the build is being finished this week according to the dealer.

Found out today that they are waiting on nippon shafts for my order.  They should arrive next week sometime and hopefully ship on the 17th.

This Sounds like my order.  I am late to the game, ordered 2/18 and was told 3/12 would be the build date.  Not counting on that, but would be nice.  Cold here in Northwest Indiana so getting them sooner would be fruitless. Sure would be nice to look at though.

I was told something similar today about my order (waiting on 3 nippon shafts) but they represented a ship date of next Friday the 12th. I originally ordered on Feb. 8.

In true WRX fashion, I found a way to mitigate the Srixon wait.  I ordered a Callaway Epic Max driver today and got scheduled for a Ping fitting event coming up at my club.  I think I feel better 🙂 

And, I have hit balls every day this week after work.  I definitely feel better 🙂 

And, got signed up for the first big tournament of the year at our club! I am fired up about golf!! 🙂

My 5, 6, and 7 (ZX5), and my 8 (ZX7) arrived. The 7 and 8 had the wrong shafts. I had asked for Steelfiber i95 in the 5-7, and Steelfiber i110 in the 8-PW. The 7 had a i110, and the 8 had a i95. Left the 7 and 8 with the assistant pro. 

 

I was told that the reason the 9 and PW did not ship was that they are waiting on grips for them (Lamkin ST Hybrid).

 

So right now I have a split set with 5-6 zx5, and 7-PW with z765. Really enjoyed the 5 and 6 iron today, even if I was stiff and swinging at about 80%.

Ordered thru DD's on 1/30.  Quoted 3-4 weeks.

 

Zx Utility 3 iron with Ctaper Lite and Z cord grip- Delivered 2/27

 Zx-5  4 iron with Project X LS and Z cord grip - Delivered 2/27

Zx-7 5-pw with Project X LS and Z cord grip - Haven't shipped yet.

I ordered on 2/9 and in Minneapolis.  Even with the warm weather we have now i wont be able to play till April.

A friend picked up the new Epic Max.  4-5 weeks later he has a TSI2, said the Epic was just not a "hot" and nowhere near as forgiving. 

 

Edit: I have not hit either but thought it was interesting. I will try the new TSI3/2 at the end of March through Titleist package at Pinehurst.

Called yesterday to ask about the options to change my UT shaft since GD ADDI is back ordered until April/May and they made the change and shipped it out yesterday. 
 

I told them to throw whatever shaft they want in there and I bought the shaft through a dealer. To make up for the credit I added another UT. 😂😂😂

 

They'll be here Saturday and will have sexy GD Black shafts in them by Monday.

Received my order of ZX5 (5-PW) today. Ordered on 2/6 from DD's.

 

They came with SuperStroke S-Tech grips (ordered Tour Velvet), but that's fine by me. Honestly, I very thankful Srixon just went ahead and put on what they had. 

 

My first round of 2021 is on Sunday and I'm pumped to hit these irons. The course is going to be soaked, so heaven knows, I need that V-sole, lol.

 

Hopefully, everybody that's been waiting longer than me gets their clubs soon. I feel for you guys.

Most definitely not going to HB for that. Too many other things to look at haha. I'm sure Srixon is working on it.

I think good news.  Ordered Zx7’s 2/18 and got shipping notice yesterday.  Hoping it is the full set not individual irons.
