Srixon Irons wait time.

I ordered on 2/9 and the anticipation is killing me!! Especially with the weather finally getting better and the snow melting. My order is zx7s 4-pw w/ KBS tour 130x shafts, 3/4” long 2° upright. Congrats to all of you guys who have received your irons!! I can’t wait to get mine!!

Just as an update for some people that are waiting.. 

 

Ordered mine through the pro at my club.. 

 

Ordered on Jan 30th — received on March 5th.. 

 

Got a split set with zx5 in the 4-7 irons and zx7 in the 8-P.. Somewhat “exotic” shafts with steel fiber i95 in all.. 

 

The pro said they are having massive club-building and shipping problems with all brands (esp. the Japanese brands) given the slow downs in the California ports..

I don’t believe it is just the Japanese brands. Pretty much all manufacturers have components coming from the Far East. Be it China, Japan, Vietnam and such. That is why all manufacturers have back orders on certain products.

My order dated 2/16 is, or should, be shipping this coming week. It was held up a few days for Lamkin grips. But I was able to get them to send with any grip, lol, loose in box. I think they said I am getting GP TV 360 in the box. 
Looking forward to being back to playing Srixon after a year off experimenting.

No I did not. Like the look but already had TM MG2 50* and 58* on order with pro. Already had the 54* MG2 in the bag. If I ever decide to go 51/56/60 I would try the set gw.

I found our golf clubs!!!

 

I’m hanging at Huntington Beach and counted 22 cargo ships anchored off shore! Conservatively that’s 40,000 containers waiting to be unloaded.

 Probably a dumb question by why are they not allowed to dock and unload.  Is this a Covid issue in Cali?  IF so man, deliver to a better place LOL

COVID.  

 

Other ports are also backed up and if you divert then you have to figure out how to get the container to the right place, etc. which is another transportation nightmare.  

 

Was just reading companies are reducing ships coming over as well, so more delays for stuff that someone needs to get somewhere.  Doesn't look to be going away based on what the reports are saying.

I've just sent in 3 orders for my team, and was quoted 4-6 weeks, but 2 orders shipped within a week!! Patience is a virtue my friends

Tomorrow marks two weeks post-order.  I don't know why I keep coming back to this thread, haha - I guess more to read that some folks are getting their irons - I like to read about their joy and it gives me hope.  My being patient for a month or more was apparently just a big story, lol.  I'm having mine shipped to the store, so I'll give the guy a call tomorrow or more likely an email and just see if he's heard anything from them, don't really need him to call Srixon I guess (but I'd give him $1 if he did). The fact that there was almost a 75 degree difference in temps yesterday vs. just a couple of weeks ago, the greens at the course are clear of snow and my yard is now 95% snow free (and got noticeably better overnight) has affected my level of patience!

I feel your pain there Hawk....it’s 83* here today but will just be 64* Wednesday. Might need a jacket!😎

I received my 6-AW ZX7’s today, and was 15 days from the time I placed the order. I’m missing the 4-5 ZX5’s, but the clubs I did receive arrived spot on to the specs I ordered which was good to see given the incredible demand Srixon is experiencing at the moment. Weather is supposed to warm up this week for a few days which will give me an excuse to put some swings on these and escape the office.

One of these days I’ll stop getting my hopes up for things arriving after I get the “your item will arrive on” text from FedEx or UPS. I wouldn’t care so much if they didn’t charge you extra for 2nd day air, then take over a week.

I ordered on 1/17 split set zx5 4 iron and zx7 5-p all with modus 120x and golf pride tour velvet midsize grips. Still have not yet received and was told mid April. I understand they have had an enormous amount of orders but really surprised such a standard order would take so long.

I’d call and check on components. I’m betting it’s the grips holding it up. Probably a quick fix if you call and switch them, or have them send without grips.

Yeah I was in contact, and a few weeks ago was told it was the grips. So I changed the grips and then end of last week I got a message saying the shafts are out of stock and won’t be back until mid April. I received the zx5 after 10-14 days after I made the order.
