Srixon Irons wait time.

Just to let you guys know I just received my ZX5 4-iron from Srixon Canada!

 

Ordered on 2/22 and received 3/11, so that’s 17 days from Cali to Canada. 
 

They didn’t have my preferred grip in stock (Lamkin Crossline Black Midsize), so I asked for any grip loose in box (they sent GP Tour Velvet 360).

Custom ordered a set of zx7 4-PW irons w/ TI x100s, +1/2", Midsize Z-grips - 2 weeks total from purchase to delivery. 5 days of that was spent in shipping from Cali to Mich. Impressive.

Got tired of waiting on the Mizuno “issues”. Ordered zx7 on Monday, shipped on Friday and will be delivered this coming Tuesday.

I placed a custom order through Discount Dan's on March 8th. ZX5 4-5, ZX7 6-P, +1/2" C Taper Lite X. Suppose to be delivered Monday. I was quoted 4-6 weeks. 

 

Anxious to see if these can kick my Mizuno MP20 MMCs out of the bag. Same shaft. One of these sets will be in the BST in a couple weeks. 🤣

Ordered my Zx5s in July... still waiting on the C-Taper shafts... They sent me a loaner set with Project X 6.5s and have offered some other options... I might need to go mess around with other heavy shafts, but I'm fixated on the C-Tapers still... 

 

Thinking the S400 tour issues might work... but I love the C-Taper in my 4 iron.

Anybody order project x lz 6.5 …I just placed an order they said the shaft is back ordered until 4-22 but I have a set I’ll play in the meantime with 105x modus but light shafts do not work well with me …curious how close they are to actual estimated dates on back orders

Following up on this. Clubs showed up Tuesday but only the 4-6. 7-P TBD. I knew it was too good to be true.

Ordered my set of ZX7 5-U with SF i95s on Friday 3/11, they shipped on 3/12, and they are showing an expected delivery of Monday 3/28.  Not bad at all.

 

Can't wait.

Srixon Canada has been amazing this year. Irons custom build came in 10 days. 
 

a month later I placed an order for a fairway with upcharge shaft so custom order again and it was at my door in less than a week. 
 

Has been head and shoulders above all other oems for me.

I put in an order for ZX7 5-PW modus 105 stiff on 3/24 through Srixon.com. 
 

Went to the web today to enter my order number to see what would come up, and it showed an error even though the information was correct. 
 

Called customer service and they confirmed all components are in stock and then said they’re just telling everyone 3-5 weeks right now. Pretty disappointing considering their site and my confirmation e-mail says 4-6 business days for a custom order…

 

Hopefully they show up sooner.

Just received custom zx7 on Monday which was 2 weeks from order date.  Components were all in stock.  So much better than waiting several months for t100 etc.  Liked the zx7 better anyway but delivery time made the choice even easier.  Not to mention price.  Srixon is doing a lot of things right, been impressed.

Exchanged ZX5 7-PW for ZX7's on Saturday 3/26 and received them to MN Monday 4/4. Project X 6.5 Shafts and Golf Pride MCC + Grips. All components were in stock. Really good turnaround time.

I ordered a set of ZX7 6-P, Project X LZ 6.0, +1/2" from my local GolfUSA in early February. Had them within 2-3 weeks. Ordered a custom ZX utility through Discount Dan's around the same time and received it within 2-3 weeks.

 

I have had the most difficulty going through Srixon directly. Two years ago ordered a 4 iron from them and arrived with the wrong shaft. Ordered a ZX5 5 iron in February and again arrived with the wrong shaft.

I order a custom set of ZX5 5-7 and ZX7 8-AW with recoil 95s March 28 through Edwin Watts,they were here in 2 weeks exactly.  Only thing else custom was 3 extra wraps on the lower hand on my stock grips.  They told me 2 to 3 weeks when I ordered.

I was very lucky and found my exact set I needed (Modus 120S) on ebay a few days after my fitting. Saved some money but mostly a ton of lead time.

Still waiting on mine from March. I was told the CTapers were the holdup and would ship mid May. Still nothing.

Ordered ZX7s on Tuesday, 5/31. Length & lie changes, Modus 120 & MCC grips. They shipped Friday and are currently scheduled for Wednesday (6/8) delivery here in Georgia. 8 Days total, if UPS gets them here on schedule. Previously it's always been FedEx Ground with Cleveland/Srixon, at least for me.

 

If you're planning to order anything just call their customer service line and ask them to check component status. They are happy to do that.
