Srixon Irons wait time.

I fight high spin, and the C-Tapers did pretty well... fitter thought they'd be the best weight for me... I'm really hoping my pro is correct and they get in this week... We shall see! (I'm not the original poster, I just also ordered C-Tapers)

Glad to hear that. My fitter put some C-Tapers in the Vokey’s during the fit and did not like it, although the ball flight came off much lower, which was what I was looking for. However, no feel whatsoever, unlike the iron set, for whatever reason. Hopefully you get yours quickly too!

Yeah, last time I got fit, the c tapers got kicked out pretty quickly… this time they were the top dog and quickly kicked all competitors out of the ring… I play my irons long, and he didn’t have the c taper in +1/2, and even the x100s 1/2 long couldn’t compare… it was a good time.

 

I was all set on the srixon fitting being the third sample in a long drawn out process but I immediately fell in love and pulled the trigger… it’s the first set of new irons I’ve ever ordered… I’m both excited and scared. Now I know how Jessie spano felt!

Haha. You made a great choice on the Srixon’s. I had no clue I’d be choosing them but they are amazing, much better than my previous gamers.

Yeah, I wanted to hit the cobras but oh well… the zx5s were pretty much spot on for me, just kept hitting them well… tried the 7s and they were fine, but I’ll take the added forgiveness!

I never even tried the 5’s. One of my first heads was the 7, then hit about a dozen others and kept swinging the 7’s in between. Nothing came close. Love them.

I loved the feel of the 7 on the well hit shots… it was the Mis hits with the 5s that sold me… barely lost any distance…

Super surprise delivery today from Srixon!! Ordered my ZX5 5-iron w/ Modus 120 shaft in custom specs (+1.5” long and 2* up) on 7/31 and was quoted 6-8 weeks.

 

Instead it popped up today after only 10 days…can’t wait to combo my new ZX5 4 & 5-irons w/ my Z 785 6-PW!!

Yea when mine were quoted 5-8 weeks I was like fiddle sticks…. When I got the email they were shipped in under 3 iI was pumped. Enjoy them!

Ordered ZX7 on 7/31. Originally told 5-6 weeks. Then 2-3 weeks. They showed up today. ZX5 4 iron was ordered a couple days later. Hope it’s on the same timeline.

I got in early on the ZX7's and love them (since late Feb).  That noted I have been looking at getting the 4Iron maybe a 3 iron in the ZX5 but I can not find if you can order a single clubs online.  Anyone know if you can?  Sorry for my ignorance if it is there....

Yeah, I just got ZX5 4 and 5-irons in the last week. On the Srixon website you just select ZX5’s on their list of clubs, then on the ZX5 page you click on “Customize”.

Under that option you can order single clubs, custom shafts, custom specs etc. and it will list all the upcharges there if applicable.

Sadly I'm still waiting on a Cleveland wedge that I ordered back in March.  I've talked to customer service and it sounds like it's due to delays from KBS, though.  Still frustrating.

C taper lite and wedge shafts are killing srixon orders right now. Rep told me 3-8 weeks depending on what flex and shaft. Hang on guys they are worth the wait!!!

I don't know for absolute sure, but it wouldn't surprise me.  That said, we custom build from the heads up.  We've never sold this much Srixon, and we've sold a LOT of Srixon in the past couple years. We're completely blown away how good all of the product is.  Our competitive juniors love them and since no one really knows them, their bags stand out.

I placed my order (C-taper 130X) at the end of April. Still no clubs but as given a loaner set with Tour X shafts to use until my order arrives, and they threw in a dozen Z-Star balls. Can't complain about the customer service with them, just a supply issue that everyone is dealing with.

The latest True Spec heard from Srixon (per my rep, who I've started compulsively pestering ever since I crossed the 8 week mark) was that new stock of C-Taper 130x was expected to arrive in "Mid-August" -- no further detail or ETA though.

Ha... that fits with what I've heard... here's hoping they are getting enough of the 130x to fulfill all the orders (or at least up until mine!)... Can't believe some people have been waiting since April!

 

The only thing that bothers me is the sales rep specifically told me the C-Tapers were in stock... he's new to Srixon, but not new to the industry... so I wish he had known better.
