ok, this is getting a bit frustrating, but I finished the Foundation and now im about 8 sessions into the Speed Spectrum.  I estimate that after 30 sessions of speed training I have lost 2-3mph of club head speed at 195g

I have gained speeds at all the other weights but the darn 195g just kills me, it could be because there are a ton of swings and the 195g is always last to do or it may be because it is cold and wet outside.....no idea...but after I finish this full speed spectrum, im gonna go back to rypstick.

I went through the same thing and eventually saw gains with 195g(week 16).

Trust the process.

Damn after another disappointing session, im ready to try something else ( im about 10 weeks in ).   With Superspeed I was seeing results straight from day 1, I dont like the superspeed sticks themselves but the protocol seems superior.  I dont see anything in this stack app except perhaps it can record your results.  There is nothing built into the app to adjust for individual results... If u are getting faster, it has the same protocol and if u are swinging slower there is the same protocol.  I was expecting that this program adapted to your results but it doesnt in the slightest.

* I probably have a easier time believing that each iteration of TM drivers has faster ball speeds and more forgiveness......

I have got better results from super speed clubs. It is probably just me but I have stayed almost the exact same speed since starting the stack. I will be going back to the super speed clubs

@puresurfr@Trav1989 Possibly you guys did Superspeed first and maxed out your speed potential leaving nothing to be gained by the stack system?  Just a thought...

That could be true but I did superspeed over 18months ago, on Superspeed I went from 102-113 .  After this season ended I got the Rypstick which I love but the Stack System sounded like such a unique system that I had to give it a try. my initial speed was 103-106 and after finishing the Foundation Program of Stack Speed my speed was 99-103 mph.

I did see improvements of swing speed at several different weights but my driver speed as well as the 195g weight suffered.

From 240g-300g weights I gained speed.  ( Blank stick is 200g, so I did well at 200g and 440g and 500g ).

300g - gained 4mph

280g - gained 5 mph

240g - gained 3 mph

195g - lost 2 mph

0g.   - gained 4 mph

Driver - lost 3 mph

I’ve just completed foundation and am seeing similar results.  I started lifting weights about two months prior to starting the speed training and still not really getting faster.  The slow progress is frustrating for sure.  I’m gonna stick to the process, but it’s trying my patience and resolve.

No gains with driver? It’s interesting you have gains on both sides of the spectrum but not in the middle… have you looked at your driver speed / distance?

I’ve enjoyed the stack system and seen some decent gains from it… just started my second protocol… my biggest issue is my prgr…

if you hit 113, I’d expect you can get back to that number… no idea what’s going on!

part of the reason I may be slower right now is because of the weather, I swing outdoors and it has been raining non stop and cold as heck in San Francisco.  Today was a bit warmer and my swing felt faster. I hit some new highs at 240g and 120g step.......still didnt gain at the 195g , hahaha 195g seems to be stuck !

What’s wrong with your prgr? I struggled with mine as well didn’t pick up swings or showed all 3 numbers. Enough to where I returned it and they sent me a new one. Same thing. What fixed for me is to have it only 2 feet or so behind me. Now it works perfect.

Yeah, I actually returned mine and got a new one... thought the new one was working better but was getting odd results again...

Biggest issue is really low numbers... like 50-60mph when I was swinging in the mid 100s... I was inside and in a gym with lots of metal, so I assume that was part of the issue.

I'll have to give it a try closer to me... When I was first having issues people told me to move it further back, so I haven't tried closer... it throwing up bad numbers is REALLY frustrating to me, because it makes me not trust the "good" readings... (other than when I hit new records, those numbers I trust!) I'm doing session 2 tomorrow, so I'll try it closer in.

So close to when you do the step swings I start my feet even with the unit and step forward from there. Also make sure the club head swings right in line with the unit. That seems to help as well. I was BEYOND frustrated before but now really happy. Also where I use it is a fully concrete floor basement so I thought that was it but seems fine

The 195g at the end of the workout is a grind. But looking back at the beginning and current stats, my driver supposedly has increased 30 yards as I am in the middle of the Full Speed Spectrum after the Foundation.

I'm also changing my swing in an effort to make it more efficient, so as that aspect settles down, we will see.

In laws bought me the stack for Christmas. I did the baseline last week and started foundations this week. Figure I will post status updates similar to some others here. Already seeing an improvement, I’ve really enjoyed the ease of the user interface and stick/weights. So far so good.

Its probably a combination of better weather, feeling fully recovered from Covid booster shot, and i love the step drills.....the second phase of Full Speed Spectrum has bumped me up across the board and that includes 195g weight......im definitely faster now and can feel it....something about taking the running start just feels great....I used to have a huge difference between my standing vertical and my one step vertical jump.  My Full intent and max intent swings are pretty close in number but my step is a definite increase.  Ive found new hope !!!!

Good reason for me to jump back into this before the spring season starts. My issue has been that I have to use this in my garage inside my home there isn't a room that has high enough ceilings. There is one room upstairs i can try for this. My other issue is that i've done a foundations baseline a while ago and then switched programs. If I then go back to foundations I have to do a baseline again. It may not be a bad idea to redo the baseline though.

I really just want to get to 105+ with the driver and ball on the course. I am in the high 90s for now I believe.

So I've experienced a lot of the same frustrations and I reached out to them:

I started with foundation moved on to full speed spectrum but my numbers seem “stuck.”

I took 5 days off in between programs, checked my progress which increased greatly (84 to 90 with 195 grams), set new personal highs that first session on the new program and can’t seem to get back to those numbers. I get within 1-2 mph lower of the fastest set recorded but never more than that.

When I started the new program I swung 195 grams at 94 mph but now it’s between 89-91. Is that normal? Second session I picked up another 4mph.

Here is their reply:

This is normal. Keep grinding and following the program.

Since I started my first session up until yesterday my driver swing speed has gone from 92 to 103 and the results on the golf course are real. I have two sessions left in full speed spectrum and then it's another progress check.

I think the stack system is the coolest out there with the data collection and program progress tracking. But, I am not willing to pay for it. (Ask me about a new driver though lol)

I decided to go with the rypstick. It was more affordable and as all the training drills online for free. I think it is plenty good. I would love the stack system though. It seems pretty awesome.

I’m finally breaking though my first plateau phase.  I read something on the supersticks website about where people hit plateaus and it basically held true for me with the stack.

You may see a lot of testimonials with people gaining absurd amounts of speed. It’s easy to get discouraged by reading them if you don’t see the same results.

Here’s my experience. For me I started with a 195g stack speed of 90 equating to a calculated driver speed of 101 (even though I could swing my driver 103-104).

I bumped to 95-96 about halfway though the foundation. It was fall and I was still playing golf and hitting balls in between. I probably overdid it and got a chest injury. I had to lay off the stack for 3-4 weeks.  When I started back I was still swinging the 195g stack mid 90s. I finished the foundation with about a 5mph gain and started full speed spectrum bc that was recommended.

I was stuck around there for a couple weeks on full speed spectrum and getting a little discouraged. But more recently started breaking though new highs through the 3rd phase. My latest I swing the 195g weight 199 with a calculated CHS 109. I know I will hit another plateau in all likelihood but will see where that ends up.  I’m not working out at all and not really playing or hitting balls.

When I bought this I would’ve been happy with 5% increase in speed and I’ve got 10%. It took a little time but it’s been real. Couldn’t be happier.

Are u done with Full Speed Spectrum and repeating it ???  No interest in Heavy Hitter or Neural overload ????

Im about 8 sessions away from completing FSS and looking forward to something different

The app ranked the programs from most recommended to least.

FSS

Neural Drive

Foundation

Neural OverDrive

Heavy Hitter

Lead Arm

Trail Arm

I’ll go through FFS again but if they recommend it a third time I’ll try something else.

yeah, I finished today and hit a new high....it seems like perhaps they should make a FSS2 which includes more reps and more sets since we are in better shape from doing 24 sessions of FSS and 18 sessions of Foundation.  I feel like im going backwards if I do a foundation or plain FSS again.  Do u have any idea of what the neural drive looks like ??

* I think u have to finish progress check before they give you recommended workouts ???  Progress checks will determine whether u need Lead arm or Trail arm work ????

I do not know what ND looks like. Maybe someone who’s done it will reply.

After Progress Check you answer some questions and it then gives recommendations. Progress Check has you do some lead and trail swings with no weights. My lead and trail were pretty similar, so probably why they’re at the bottom of my list.

Has anyone seen faster gains on the Stack vs your actual Driver hitting balls?  I have a TM at home and have been on a serious old man speed program this winter.

I'm now half way through the Full Speed after completing the Foundation.  My baseline 195g started at 89 and is now at 101 (107 e-speed).

I hit drivers nearly every day.  My measured chs is up , but I cant really get it going past 100-101 maxing out at 102-103.  Im swinging max or very close, no doubt about that.  But I have been stuck there for a few weeks in that range while I am seeing real gains using the Stack.

Hey guys - thanks for all the posts about your experience with the Stack.  I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one yesterday and now I need to get my radar.  Sounds like most of you are using the PRGR.  Is that what you would recommend?  Anyone use the Swing Caddie?  If I'm spending the money anyway, I'd like to get one that can help me with wedge distances.
