Has anyone tried this shaft in their driver?

Interesting. I need to look into this more. They are talking carbon not graphite?

Steadfast carbon fiber golf shafts are an improvement to the typical graphite shaft, increasing the durability, performance, and overall feel of any club.

$100 with a Taylormade adapter. Hmmm.

All shafts now days are carbon fiber. The term graphite has just held on, like how we call metal headed clubs woods.

Would be nice if they actually had some launch characteristics. Sound like they are trying to get the standard golfer who doesn't know any better and convince them any upgrade from a stock shaft is better.

Learn something new every day. I have not dug into shafts yet. It's a bit overwhelming to be honest. 😄

<edit> the shaft I just got is supposed to be special being hand laid. My guess is a lot of them are and it's just clever marketing. 😄

There is a thread about these somewhere. I bought one to try.. It is a train wreck of a shaft.. Mine broke after just a few swings. Quality control is terrible. They do not layer their carbon fiber evenly, their stiff shaft CPM'd to XX stiff.

Stay away...

This.  They sent me another and I had the same thing happen.  I then asked for a refund and got a confirmation number saying the refund was approved.  Three months later and no refund in my account...

Bought one early on, shipped relatively fast. Put in a Ping G410 plus. Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. Flight was ok height wise, but (this was mostly my swing) fade biased. Raw finish, mine had a sticker that I removed. To my eye the shaft had no taper until about 6 inches above the adapter so from .600 to .335 pretty quickly. For the money, I can’t complain since it was really an experiment for me. Two rounds and moved on.

I have the steadfast shaft. It is currently shafted in an Adams Fast12 Ls driver and it works really good for me. It didn't seem to work for me in the Srixon Z785 driver I have.

A month ago I picked up a Tour Edge EXS pro driver and I'm going to order an OEM adapter from Tour Edge so I can try the Steadfast in that driver.

When the shaft got delivered it looked cheap with the stick-on logo. I peeled off the logo sticker and put it at the butt end of the shaft to use as the first layer of a wrap

Terrible company, they tried to slander Fujikura and Fujikura’s Golfwrx account was having none of it. It was entertaining though!
