I shot a a smooth 77 15 of 18 greens 9 fairways and gag me now 37 putts

 

 

I had a streak 3 putt bogey 3 putt triple bogey (ball otb's) I had six to seven feet for bogey

 

3 putt bogey 2 putt par 3 putt bogey I was six over when I left six and played the rest of the way one over and only missed one more green.

 

Its funny I actually putted fair the rest of the day made two nice two putts tough long putts and two nice birdies I did have a couple of 15 footers I just missed .

 

I find it hilarious that in three of my last four rounds I hit the ball out of bounds once I have not hit it out of bounds six times all year

Shot my all time best 87 today at bushwood golf club in markham, canada.

shot 47 on the front 9, was alright, ball striking was good but my driver was terrible, and putting alright I guess.

 

But then i just came alive on the back 9. was even par through the first 6 holes, 1 bogey, 4 pars, then topped it off with a 25 foot birdie putt on the long par 5.

 

The course has a rating of 66.6 and the slope is 115. After never breaking 90 my whole life my past two rounds have been 88, 87. Man I smell some congragulation on your good round club purchases coming

nine holes by myself two balls in and hour it was just too damn hot for golf

 

I was even on one ball and a couple over on the other and that was enough

We had a nice 36 hole match yesterday. I shot 69-69. Felt pretty good except my buddy clipped me on the second round with 71-66.

82 blows Today I had a nine on a par four (second shot out of bounds) and a double on a par four with no penaltys.

 

I was not feeling well and considering the nine was on four I did not play that horrible.

 

Still not making the birdie putts missed four inside 12 feet oh well

played in a tourny this weekend fired a 78 ,6 over the first day with 7 birdies and then 82 the second day and only had 2 birdies two days of bad golf

I shot a 71 today. It was a pretty solid round overall :rolleyes: , though I know I could've done better :black eye:

73 (+4), one of them messy rounds, two doubles, 4 birdies, that kind of thing, it was really blustery, so all-in-all, happy with my perfromance.

Played 27 today. 36, 41, 39. Best ball striking round I've ever had. Hit 23/27 GIR and 15/21 fairways. Two putted everything, the GIR stat is a little misleading, most of my birdie putts were 20-40 feet and didn't make but one putt over 10 feet all day. I'll take those scores as a 10 hcp. Still got some work to do to get to my goal.

Played in a Senior tournament today at Hunter's Ridge in Marion Iowa first time playing the course. Shot 86 net 69. finished 5 th and got a $30 gift certificate.

A okay round but could have been much better. First hole drive OB and took a 7. Last hole took a double bogey 7. One birdie , 6 pars, 8 bogies one was a three putt. But being a tournament I thought I did okay for a guy with a 15.3 index. Course played to 69.5 slope 125.

alan great round great ball striking, If you learned half of what you should from a day like that you will not be a ten long.

 

I see you have been playing three years and I think you are doing incredible.

 

I am curious with that kind of ball striking how old you are and how often you get to play or practice.

Well, had the career best today. Shot even 71, beat personal best by 4 strokes, had the opportunity to shot -1 but bogied the last hole.

76 bogeyed both par 5s on the back and doubled the last hole. What terrible back nine it was.

one birdie and a bunch on bogeys, from either bad driving and when I drove well, bad approach and when I did those 2 well my putting sucked. All and all pretty normal.

I shot a personal best on one of my 2 home courses. I finally broke 90 and shot an 88, should have been lower but i tried to go for the green in 2 on a par 5 and lifted my head, the ball went far in my head but 20 yards in reality lol. Ended up bogying the hole :russian_roulette:. But on a side note i won some money from my friend for some birdies and flagstick puts so it made up for it.

Check this out today six of us were playing a skin game for 5 bucks a man and you had to validate your skins ie if you had a sking you had to tie the low score on the next hole to validate

 

Now just in my foursome there were 13 birdies the other three guys shot 70 72 and I think 76 I shot 71 with five birdies

 

(a certain old man finally had a respectable putting round)

 

Now here is the fun part of all this out of six players I am not sure at all how many birdies the other two guys had but still all those birdies

 

Guess who had the only validated skin? :jester: Me of course and its to funny I did so with a par on the easiest par four on the golf course.

 

It was a fun day for this old coot ha ha :cheesy:

Fired off a personal low score for the year today with a 75. And I left a few strokes on the course. here are two lowlights. 1st: Hole 15 par 5 492 dead solid drive of 310 yards(on the gps) and a 7 iron left to the green. I managed to put a bit to much draw on the 7iron aka pull hook and hit it into a bush had to take a drop and made bogey instead of an easy 4. 2nd on 17 3 jacked from 10 feet nice little brain fart on that one as I knocked the first put 7 feet past the hole and missed that one. All in all on the day 5 birdies 7 bogeys and a double. 29 putts on the day with the one 3 jack. Par 71 6535 yards 70.1/131 rating/slope. handicap now @ 8.1

My shot of the day. After being frustrated by the 3 putt on 17 I decided to have a go for the green in 2 on 18 (par 5 515 yards) I had 238 left to the pin and 220 to carry the lake in front of the green light breeze into us hit 3wd 228 yards left about 25 ft for eagle.

i got in 7 holes yesterday during a playing lesson. was +2 with a double, a bogey and a bird.

 

 

 

my game sucks. i had to scramble to even be there. my ball striking is ridiculously bad. luckily my short game is decent. putting.....meh. i think i need to dump the #7.........looking towards a newport. i am getting some crazy confidence with it putting at table legs in the shop :)

I played a mens night last night at my home course. I shot 6 over 43 on the back (reverse order) then shot a 8 over on the front. I blame my rushing through a hole or 2 trying to get ahead of a group. Ended up shooting an 86. The problem is going to be, at the start of the year i was a 28 handicap, i had trouble breaking 100.

 

I took some time to work on my game and it came together after getting my driver reshafted. Everyone is probably thinking im a sandbagger cause im posting way lower then my handicap says i am.

 

The good thing is, every round under 98 lowers it right now lol. When i started the year my goal was to break 90 consistently. Im there, now my goal is to break 80. And with good course management i think i will be able to get there. Feels awesome when you start shooting in the 80's

Okay, three days ago I played a relatively easy course and shot a 16 over 87. The next day I played a course that was a bit harder and shot a 3 under 32 (9 holes) in conditions that were even a little bit windy. I don't have slopes or ratings for the courses at my reach, but I know the latter of the two is a harder rating.

 

I just don't get my game sometimes. :)

Charity Texas Scramble today. Our 4 ball finishes on 6 under. I can't believe the putts we missed...or maybe it was the beers at the turn. Anyway, it's all a bit of fun and charity is the real winner.

34 on the 9 hole par 3 course...chunked/thinned a couple tee shots for double bogey, but 4 or 5 pars feels good I guess...long game needs work.
