So I bought an Epic Speed Max LS.....

 

Love it, but I HATE the colors. So, I am now the proud owner of a Callaway Customs all blacked out Epic Speed Max LS. Or more specifically two Epic speed Max LS with one that’s sexy. 
 

I have a problem.....but an ugly driver ain’t it.

I dont think their stuff has been that bad. Some stuff when it first comes out online i say what the freakkin heck... ew.. then i see it in person and im like... wow not bad actually. I'll take 3 please.

Probably could have sent the original off to continental golf and had it murdered out for less than a new driver... 

 

Im usually indifferent to that the bottom of the club looks like... I liked the checkered flag pattern on my ltd pro cause I felt like it was telling me to be Ricky Bobby and go fast...

As long as it performs right?  I have the OG SIM and SIM 2.  OG SIM is as ugly as it gets IMO.  The SIM 2 is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.  Both perform for me.  I use the SIM 2 mostly but the OG SIM comes out when I need more carry on specific golf courses.

It may be normal for WRX. I certainly noticed quite a few Mavrik customs for sale around here, so others clearly went the way to de-pimp zee driver. 

 

While I wish mine was a basic black and white, I am frugal enough to deal with the hideous orange of my Mavrik in exchange for more money to club ho'...

 

Nothing wrong with a backup driver OP 😄

Craigslist classic. Careful with mirroring surfaces, too. Always wear clothes when taking product photos.

I do not see anything wrong here at all. You obviously have great taste. This is my custom Epic Max LS.

 

 

I went with the clean crown option though. It makes the Max style head seem like a players club at address.

 

 

You are ruined now, no stock colorway will be good enough from here on out.

 

 

Once you go custom there is no going back. HAVE FUN!!

I’m selling the old one in the classifieds. I’ve hit it like 20 times, I’m sure I’ll get most of it back.
