SuperStroke Pistol GTR 2.0 Alternative

Love this grip but I hate the white on them. Tried using vinyl / interior spray as others have done and it left the grip slick and not the feel I prefer. I have played the red & black GTR 2.0 since they came out and my stash has run dry and looking for something in all black. Anyone have any luck with finding something similar?

Also interested to hear alternatives on this...im in the same boat as you love the pistol gtr 2.0 and just put the last all black one on my gamer. 

 

Need to find something to stock up on next.

not exactly what you want, nicer than most. Don’t think the pistol version is available anymore.  I game the mid-slim 2.0

I saw that and if they had the pistol 2.0 I’d have no problem putting that on.

Search for Yamato grips on Amazon. My buddy bought one and I snickered - until I put it in my hands. Identical shape to Pistol GT 2.0 at half the price. There are nubs all over the grip and they are a bit distracting at first because it is so different. I have no idea regarding the long term durability of the grip as I’ve only had it for a few weeks.

looks interesting.  Nubs soft squishy or firm?

The nubs don’t give if that makes sense. At same time they are not firm where it applies pressure points in your hands. The grip has a foam under layer that has some give if you squeeze with medium pressure. 
 

there is actually another thread on boards talking about these grips. It’s really not a bad alternative. The nubs do seem to get a little oily. I carry a rosin bag with me (Florida) and put some on the grip and liked it. It’s not like the putter feels like it will fall out of your hands. The nubs are silicone (guessing) and and if you’ve handled anything similar you would know what I mean by attracting oil from your hands.
