My absolute favorite cover.  ( leadbelly ) Listen till the end.  It’s soft to a point.   Then it’s not.  all the way.

Might have been mentioned. But how can we not have some Radiohead ?  Definitely in the running for top 10 video or the 90s.  But an amazing song.  Karma police.  

 

 

And of course  have to mention creep   If for no other reason than the band hates this song  .  Which means it works

One thing I love about music is how hearing a particular song, or just thinking about a band will instantly transfer you back to a moment in time where you were listening to a song, or album. Like a memory perfectly preserved in time capsule… I was 23yo and on a 1st date with a beautiful young Asian woman. We went for drinks and ended up in the front seat of her car in the parking lot of the restaurant. We sat in the front seat of her car talking and  listening to music. She asked if I had heard of Matchbox 20. The were brand new at the time and I hadn’t. She put the CD on. As it played we started making out… 25 years later and that’s the memory this Matchbox 20 album triggers for me. Not sure why, I went on a lot of dates with a lot of different young ladies at the time. But I don’t mind 😊

You ain’t lying brother.  Im not  going to kiss and tell. But you’re dead on.  I have a few that are very fond memories. It’s amazing how something like that is seared into the Brain forever.
