Caught my first ever Hole In One on video!

Hey y'all! Been playing for about 30 years now, and I've come so close on multiple occasions, but yesterday I got my first Hole In One! And I had set up my phone to film too! Beyond excited, and now I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and everything from here on out will be casual and care free. 
 

 

I ended up getting an eagle on the back 9 as well. First eagle in about...2 years or so. And happened to catch all 3 shots of that on camera too! 
 

 

 

Even with these 2 holes, I still ended up shooting +1 on the day. But it was beautiful, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the year/season brings!

Nice!  That would have sucked had it not gone in because of the foam (and you'd have never known it).  As for everything being 'casual and carefree', well, you might want to consider another hobby if that is your expectation.  Now you'll just wonder why they all aren't going in 😉.

Just called "Shot Tracer" in the Apple app store. I just wedged my phone between my clubs with my bag placed behind me. Pretty simple!

I'm planning on recording myself this year too.  I bought a iPhone holder and a power bank hoping to analyze my swing and study where I fall apart each round.

 

 

 

Do you just record the whole round and then edit, or do you set up each shot?

First off, congrats!! Second, a hole-in-one with the foam is like a bonus. Third you absolutely pured all of those. I have yet to even experience someone else making an Ace but II can't even imagine how excited you were. Awesome you caught it on video.

That is so awesome 👏🏼 I live about 15 min from that course too. Congrats man!!!

My kids’ school hosts their annual tourney there a bunch and that ace would have won you a car
