Completely agree on the featured groups. Actually getting to see something through is brilliant. Rather than dipping and diving out of a group, it gives them time to see how they actual play golf rather than just seeing the shots that they hit.

That’s exactly what I thought. I see that the guy has been taken by the Police to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Presumably for a mental health check. If Stevie was there, mental health issues would definitely not have been the hospitals first concern.

So apparently some wanker walked up to Rory on the tee box on 10 and ripped a club out of his bag ?  Im half shocked that Rahm didn’t tackle the guy.  Imagine if Steve Williams was on his bag ?  I’d pay to see that scenario.

Funny enough, I'm pretty sure Matty meant to quote the post above mine (about the random guy going into Rory's bag), but grabbed mine instead (about Poutler's pants) .......... though it all could be read that Poulter needed some sort of mental health hospitalization based on his choice of pants.

That’s how I read it whne I scanned.  Lol. And I laughed and agreed.  He needs an eval I think.  But I like ole poults. He has the fire in his belly that many lack.

That’s what i figure too , the guy pulls driver and it falls backin the bag. So he pulls a random other club but takes the headcover for driver and then just does to the corner. Almost like he’s waiting or expecting security to have already tasered him.  
 

The exchange is incredibly weird to me.  As in I still can’t believe neither of the 3 made a single move to stop him.  I mean we saw mike Davis tackled bird man and hold him in a bunker at the us open that webb won.   I wouldn’t pick mike  Davis as being the hardest guy to punk down of the 4 when comparing Rory his caddie and john Rahm as the other 3. But I guess the proof is in the actions.  Maybe I’m the problem.  😂.  Lol.  Old boy wouldn’t have got it out of the bag on the second try.

Agree. If he’s truly ill then it’s not funny at all.  Nor do I wish him harm.  And maybe that’s the cause for the weird calmness.  If so that actually fits.

The freaky part to me is he could have just as easily stabbed Rory as close as he got and nobody reacted at all in the group to move away. I guess Pro Golfers and their Caddies are not used to actually having to be aware of anything except the Course ahead, but in these times a bit of situational awareness could safe your life or at least a trip to Hospital....
