Are the Miura Baby Blades no more?

Miura's website doesn't list them. Are they gone forever?

This happens every few years. I still don't completely understand why, they sell every set they build regardless of the price tag that they put on them. I'm not terribly concerned as I have several sets. 😎

I'd sent a note to Miura asking about BB's. They told me they expect them to be on a 3 year release cycle. Though a firm date for next release not yet determined, but they are not discontinued.

When I first lusted after these I thought 

,£1300 odd was a bit much but when the baby blades 2 were released this was now £2100…!

 

BTW out of interest who on tour ever played these & also who on tour plays miura irons?

I know that Abraham Ancer plays the TC201's with MMT 105x.  There are probably others but he's the most recent that I've followed.

Many have played and won however they were all rebadged with names like Titleist, Taylormade and Callaway.

Nick Price played custom baby blades.

Abraham Ancer won with the 5005 a few years back. And he's been in contention quite frequently. 

 

K.J. Choice won with the 501CB maybe 15 years ago. 

 

Plus, as Stan said, many have won with Miura's in disguise. Callaway, Taylormade, and Nike spring to mind. 

 

The feel (and "sensation") of hitting a Miura is one of a kind, albeit a bit different. You will know right away if you are a fan. I will warn you though, once you go Miura, you don't get back. Nothing will ever feel quite as good once you've drank the Kool Aid.

Abraham Ancer is the only one that comes to mind. He is sponsored by miura. I know he uses some of there wedges, I don’t know which ones but then he uses the TC-201 irons.

Francesco Molinari used the Callaway MBs forged by Miura.

I hope when they re-release them there will be 90% less stamping on the back. Especially when “Forged” is stamped on a club. 🤦‍♂️

IIRC, Charl Schwartzel once gamed a set that he had drilled holes into the back of to get the swing weight he wanted.
