I think the numbers on this release is as at least as big as T22 which means anyone who reasonably wanted one in time got it. The numbers I mentioned for my area alone are double the T22 allotment we got. This isn’t rare it’s just expensive and not a retail model.

My head pro told me that his rep said the numbers were lower than the t22. Maybe he was wrong. Had no trouble getting the previous ones but he couldn’t snag me one of these.

I suspect similar numbers as the T22, JT, etc.

Read somewhere that these (6000) were rarer than the T22 (8000?) but havent seen it officially.

I wanted to like these, but passed, here is my take for what it's worth:

 

Too busy, with all the stripes and colors, definitely looks like a FILA product (who owns Titleist AND the Scotty Cameron brand)

 

If they re-released the Studio Stainless Newport/2, in the 350 weight,,, they would sell out I say, 3 thousand in a day. 

 

I'll continue to wait a Studio Stainless Newport 2 . no insert, re-release.

Coming in summer 2022 or 2023. This whole re-release limited edition makes everything possible.

These re-releases have something in common, major wins. There’s no reason to re-release the Studio Stainless. The Special Select is pretty much the same thing with changeable weights and updated head shapes.

Totally agree with this, to me the special select was a step down. My studio select was the best feeling Cameron I own. Something about the special select head shape and contours that just don’t look as good to me, and the feel is very firm. To each their own, but this is really a special select with Tei3 insert not a button back as seen originally.

There's an allotment of putters available in person (while they last) at select stores. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see lines.

Were production numbers for the SC Champions Choice Button Back putters released?  Just trying to gauge their scarcity, "limited run" and all.  A breakdown for each model would be ideal.
