Jeez, this is killing me, LOL....I just changed my order from the LTDx to the LS version....forgiveness be damned!! I need those extra 2 mph!! 😆😈😩

Was interested in this until I saw the pricing here in Norway (at least for pre-order).  The Cobras have been significantly cheaper than the offerings from Callaway and TM, but this year, they're only about 20 US$ less than the new Rogue ST, and $50 less than the Stealth as you can see below. Wonder if the SIM2 or Radspeed might be what to go for?

Also forgot, you probably would see 1 degree lower launch too with LS. Hope its not too late lol

They also dropped the motore from being a stock option (now a 120 upcharge). No fuji stock offerings in the three major releases now unless you count the air speeder or non velocore ventus

LOL...stop! no, I know...I figure if needed, I can adjust the loft accordingly. My current SIM2 Max, I dial in the loft along with the face angle & lie...but with the LTDx...what also gave me second thoughts, is the fact that you can't adjust fade/draw bias. On my current SIM2 Max, I have the face quite open...and I had fear that I'd get the LTDx and be hooking it off the map (my miss is left, not right like a lot of golfers)...so I really also wanted the ability to set it to fade if needed.

I'm really tempted to get the LTDx.  I have a Mavrik Max now that I hit really well, but I'm really itching to buy a new driver. The new ST-Z 220 looks really good as well.

I thought the LS was a fade biased and it does have draw settings.

Cobra and Taylormade hosel settings are very much the same. Couple of "clicks" more in Taylormade, tiny bit wider range. In LS you can adjust fade/draw bias even more with the weights in addition to the hosel settings. Not familiar with SIM2 Max head and if it has some additional adjustements.

Likely ordering a LTDx LS 3 wood to replace my SZ Big Tour 3 wood. Will try to demo the lineup this weekend and compare it to TM Stealth.

 

What happened to the milled face in the fairways? Seems like a pretty big departure for Cobra. Haven't seen any comments about the change in design.

I have a fitting scheduled for 7p this Friday. I'll put the X and the LS against my SIM² Max gamer...I'm primarily going there for my son who wants the X, but I'll see if they'll let me hop on the Trackman for a few swings with the LS. I'll be buying the X for my son, so I can't see them saying "no", but we'll see. I was told they should have the fitting cart there on or by Friday. 

 

I'll report back my experience

What does your son currently game? I'm probably one of the few that have had a driver from every major manufacturer and still prefer the radspeed. I'm definitely interested in the LTDx or LS

He currently plays the original SIM MAX which I love. I actually think it feels better than my SIM² Max...it has a sweet Crack to it. He's also going to bring that with him to hop on the Trackman to compare to. If the LTDx beats it, I'll get it for him. His school golf season starts next month and it'd be a birthday gift for him

Put in an order for an X through local dealer, 9 hole track I frequent,  and we were told the X sold out almost instantly. Would be late May at best we were quoted. Gonna try for the LS tomorrow or I’ll just go a different route.

Have you tried elsewhere? Like TGW, golfdiscount, World Golf, etc?

I agree. Gonna check tomorrow since it was getting late if it was maybe the color,  I chose the dark, not blue finish. He just said that head sold out instantly. Haven’t tried anywhere else. I like my local guy, always treats me right. Got irons coming this week from another OEM that other folks have been waiting on for several months. Mine were order during the Christmas holidays so I feel fortunate! Cobra has always been top notch though. Ordered lots of Cobra through this same place!

Looks like they've caught peoples eye here - just picked up a brand new Radspeed with the Motore F1 shaft for the equivalent of $270. Bit worried it might be too low spin for me (even though I play my F7 with a heavier aftermarket weight towards the face).

 

I'll probably wait until the courses open here and then check my club pro's stock (he carries Cobra gear ) to see if the Ltdx is more to my liking.

I was going to order pea coat until I found out it was a glossy top. I love the look of matte on a driver so went black.

I don't necessarily need a new driver, but "eff" it.....LTDx LS ordered.....with Graphite Design AD HD 6X shaft.

HA...i just put my order in yesterday. I 1st ordered the "X"...then changed it a few hours later to the "LS" for the extra fade/draw adjustability. I also have a fitting scheduled for my son tomorrow evening to put the "X" version against his current gamer the OG TM "SIM Max". I'll call them now to see if they have the new fitting-cart w/all the components there. Earlier in the week, they said they'd have it either today or tomorrow I think. I'll confirm and update here

Website has Raw AV White as stock but Pro White is a $250 upcharge. I loved the Pro White when I tested before. Anyone with experience with both?

Same as any shaft.  "Pro" has a little bit better materials so it will play a little stiffer, have a little lower torque.  I currently play the Raw White, but it is the TX version which is different.  I would guess, flex for flex, that you would not see a ton of difference.  Pro would just feel *slightly* more stable.  Worth the $250 upcharge?  Probably not, imo.

Just called them up and they DO have the components there for the new Cobra driver offerings to perform fittings, so tomorrow's appointment is on for my son. I would think most fitters have components on-hand or at least will shortly.
