So who feels that the LTD is a better upgrade over Rad? I’m really torn

Interesting that the Forged Tec looks like this new Forged Tec X is going to offer OL but regular Forged Tec not. I don't think we've seen MIM one yet either? Interestingly, I noticed the other day that according to Maltby playability factor that the original Forged Tec were rated less forgiving than the MIM Tours which I was surprised by because so many say the Forged Tec are easier. I have only hit them briefly. Anyway, all of the iron offerings seem very good.

I've said this a couple times here, but somehow it keeps getting mixed up.

 

One Length will be in the regular Forged Tec and the new LTD X

 

The new Forged Tec X WILL NOT offer One Length, nor will the MIM Chrome/Copper or RB Blades.

There's been a couple of videos done showing the Rad against the LTDx.

 

 

 

Personally I don't think there's much of a difference outside of the forgiveness for the LTDx tbh, not one to justify spending money on a new driver anyway. Would probably need to go have a fit of the LTDx to decide for yourself if the upgrade is worth as only you can decide for yourself.

Golf Digest currently shows the Ltd X and Forged Tech X being available in OL. 
 

They show Forged Tech only being available in standard lengths.

I’m hoping all three are available in OL as I’d like to try them all out and buy which ends up working best for me.

Cobra is on top of their game, local guy confirmed LTDx LS arrived today. Unfortunately, I’m offshore afloat for the next 28 days! 2 weeks ahead of their quoted shipping date!

Yes, this is where I got that. I had missed the Forged Tec X even being mentioned until today.

I’m only going by information I was given in writing first hand from Cobra.   
 

If I end up being wrong, I’ll be the first to say so.  Although I would be more inclined to think My info was bad, if GD was saying both models will be in OL

 

 Guess we won’t fully know until April. 
 

In the mean time. I’m more excited about my LTD X that arrived today 😬

Sorry if I missed it, but are they bringing out any new putters? I love the tech they incorporated last year, but hate look. If they can clean things up a bit I’d definitely take a hard look at their offerings.

I presume you ordered through Cobra?  I wish I would've, but I had a credit to burn up with a retailer. I probably won't have mine for a couple more weeks.

They actually came in Thursday, a day earlier so thanks fedex for that. 
 

3 wood look fantastic. Looks forgiving and easy to get in the air. Excited about that one. 
 

Driver looks fantastic as well, but slight hiccup with my order. They sent the head with the stock weights, but I ordered tour length so needed the heavier ones. Contacted rep, and new set of weights are on the way. No charge. Don’t have to send the other back. So that’s cool.

Has anyone tried hitting the LTDx irons yet?

Looking to switch up to a whole new bag this year, gamed Apex19's last season which was my first "real" year of playing, shafts on that was 1" short and just felt natural up to my 7i which honestly is making me consider the OL version as well. While doing the free fittings at GG for Stealth+ (gained 15 yards over gamer driver/20 over Rogue ST TD) I was able to hit the LTDxLS 3 times, all outdrove Stealth+ by 15-20 yards, so definitely getting fitted for that as my gamer this year.

Yeah, I got fitted a few weeks ago and landed on the LTDx irons over Mizunos, Callaways, Taylor Made, and PING that I tested. Absolutely loved them and can’t wait for my order to come in. 
I did a separate fitting for a Driver and landed on the Rogue ST over the LTDx, Stealth+, and a few others. 
I always recommend doing a fitting with an open mind to find the clubs that work best for you over just fitting for a specific brand/model.
