Have there been tournaments on? 😂 I  enjoy watching golf on TV. But have to admit that with football and MLB playoffs being on, I haven’t even thought to look for the recent tournaments. Tuff time of year for golf.

TMZ sports has a 15 second clip of Tiger walking on his own two feet at a golf course. Is it really Tiger? Hard to tell, but it does look like him. Youi judge, but dude apparently is in better shape than all the crazy speculation that has been bandied about.

I have little doubt Tiger will return to the Tour. The big question is at what level is he able to perform?

 

Best case scenario, he wins 10 more times, including a couple of majors, between his return and his 50th birthday.

 

Worst case scenario, he struggles to make cuts and finishes middle of the pack when he does play the weekend. The truth is probably somewhere in between.

I’m more shocked that many here said he’d never return.  It’s no surprise to me.  He will play as long as he’s competitive.  And he’s still competitive with the youngest and hottest players.  Why not come back ?  It’s golf , not 110 hurdles or wide receiver. .  The over estimation of the required level of athleticism and mobility is hilarious.

First list is out of what players have qualified for the 2022 Masters which is subject to continual change. Nothing really of note who is playing however the current list of who is not playing is interesting. Partial list below.

He just announced the field for the World Challenge. Not playing but will be interesting to see if he shows up.

As a lifetime tour member he can certainly play whenever he wants.  The bigger question is how competitive he will be, especially if he only wants to play in majors, Memorial, Bay Hill, Players, and a few he hosts or sponsors.  No offense intended, but I doubt his goal is to win Deere or Safeway or some opposite field event.  Hard to stay in rhythm playing once a month.

It's a matter of when not if. The guys on tour know a lot more about his recovery then the media does.  Stricker said a month ago that Tiger's rehab is focused on playing again. It's gonna happened

I think Jack's major record is safe, but a healthy Tiger can still contend at Augusta. He knows that course better than anyone  Even in 2015 when he couldn't chip Tiger was top 5 going into Sunday

I agree he doesn’t get 3 more majors. But I think you may be a little light on Tour wins. Between now and age 50 I think the over/under is 5.
