SeeMore Putters Debuts New Whistle Offset Shaft for 2008!

I've rolled the milled mFGP during the fall and enjoy the sweet, soft feel of the milled carbon steel putter. Even though it is a blade, I've enjoyed hitting the sweetspot consistently with Pat O'Brien's Instruction, whose technique is basically a wide, shallow arc with few moving parts.

When my local retailer took delivery of new SeeMore Putters, I had to take a look at the new Offset "Whistle" Shafts, which are available in addition to SeeMore's traditional straight, nonoffset shaft. It took a few minutes to grow accustomed to the offset shaft after playing the traditional straight shaft. But the new shaft is an exciting addition to the lineup.

The bend of the shaft allows a forward press and is integrated into the Rifle Scope Technology, allowing the golfer to purchase a putter and hidden training aid in one club along with some of the best putter headcovers available.

I rolled the new m1 Whistle Shaft Putter on the carpet and enjoyed it with my hands pressed forward. I think the forward press allows one to be slightly more aggressive with their stroke. I also noticed that the milling of the face had slight horizontal ridges, which is also new for 2008. The m Series mFGP retained its unique milling face, too.

I noticed that the m1w was almost face balanced, and when asked, Jim Grundeberg answered that a byproduct of the new hosel/offset shaft is less toe hang in the w series, but particularly so in the m1w. I did not have an opportunity to inspect the other products in the 2008 lineup for toe hang.

SeMore Putters are semi-custom in that one can choose in lengths from 33 to 36 inches in 1/2 inch increments and one can order lie angles from 66-74 degrees. Standard options are 68, 70 and 72 degree lies, and all putters are offered for left and right handed golfers.

The SeeMore Putter Company now introduces its first offset models of the mSeries, which will join their milled Series straight shafted putters. The offset Milled Series, featuring the new, proprietary “Whistle” shaft, is designed and engineered to perform with the SeeMore RST system for golfers who prefer their hands forward at address.

The Patented Rifle Scope Technology (known as "RST,") known by a visible gun sight on the top line, allows the golfer to set up the putter perfectly each and every time in relation to the intended target line. This is accomplished by lining up the black bottom portion of the shaft between two white lines and covering a signature red dot on the heel of the top line. The two parallel white sight lines frame the shaft and serve as an indicator that the golfer is in perfect position to make a consistent and reliable stroke.

With the SeeMore Putter and built-in RST, the golfer is purchasing a putter and training aid in one club. When practicing the stroke, as long as the red dot with the RST is invisible to the eye during the stroke, the putter head and shaft is aligned as the golfer had established at address.

The Whistle is a new shaft with a simple bend that maintains the alignment and performance integrity of the SeeMore putting system -- its patented RifleScope Technology (RST) alignment system on the putter head and the black bottom portion of the shaft – for a hands slightly forward address. The original straight shaft versions of the mSeries putters, as well as the original FGP putters, are designed to have a golfer place his hands in line with the eyes and with the putter head.

The mSeries putter heads are 100% milled in USA from finest quality 303 stainless steel blocks. All mSeries putters, except the mFGP incorporate a precision lightweight milled aluminum back cavity insert which enhances feel.

The mFGP putters are 100% stainless steel with no back insert as center blockhead design has majority of the weight behind the ball for optimal feel.

I just wanted to add that the Seemore m1 putter, is the best putter I've ever putted with!!!! I've putted with a large number of putters, and this one is the best for me! I'll never look at another putter.....OK, that's a lie, but I truly love this putter!!!!! At least for now.

To my understanding, the whistle shaft was "coined" from never compromise. They use that shaft bend for a lot of their tour only product.

The reason it called whistle, is because it’s the only way to describe it to somebody.

2nd here. I was struggling with my putting (36+) putts a round. I have used Cameron Newport 2s, detours and Odyssey putters with limited success. I have been using the regular FGP (non-milled) and my avg putts per round has dropped to 31 and I have made more 10+ footers than in my entire life. Not only that, but the customer service with SeeMore is just fantastic. I had a problem with my putter headcover and I got emails back from not only the customer service rep, but one of the owners of the company!

I recommend this putter to anyone, at least to try and see if it helps. As soon as I can afford a mFGP then I will be getting one.
