Great bag.  I have a similar set up, with the exception I have 3H and 4H instead of the 7W and 9W.  I have thought about giving a 7W a try for fun.  Do you like the G425 driver?  I am in the market for a new driver this year and it is on my short list.

G30 LST 9* then G400 LST 10* was my previous - each upgrade has gotten me more carry yardage- while maintaining my accuracy. I'm not WRX length - but 14/14 fairways hit are pretty common in my game - carry is 226yds up from 212yds with G30

 

Same Tour 65s shaft in all

I got my G425 Max in May of 2021 and it will stay in the bag for a while.  Probably added 20-25 yards for me from a G30.  Like the two of you, I'm a 230 yard guy off the tee and can push it to 240 in the summer.  While it isn't the greatest driver I've owned in the last 45 years, it is the best one I've had in a long time.  Accuracy is great and as short as I hit the ball, that is really important.  Hard to play short and crooked.  Haha.

I'm a big fan of fairway woods.  Wish 9 woods were more common.  Made my own with a cobra sz ladies 7w head (25.5*) and put one of my spare stiff shafts in it.

If you count my putter I have eight clubs undercover, longest iron is an 8i. I’m one gen behind you at the top of the bag, but if those G430s are better than the 425s, look out. 👍🏻

 

I am hunting for a 425 Max 9w, head only (my shaft needs are weird.)

Ended '23 at 4.3 from 6700yds -had Covid end of summer. Best score was 71 - had a few -3 9 holes.

90% of my rounds are from 6400-6800

very nice.  We hit our clubs similar distances.  but I am sure are much longer though.

Glide 4.0 56* W - 75-85

G430 50 - 95

G430 45 - 105

G430 PW - 115

G430 9i - 125

G430 8i - 135

G430 7i - 145

G430 6i (Really struggling right now with this club and getting the launch I need), should go 150-155 but not seeing that.

G430 5h (in on trial from Global Golf) - set to 27* - 155

Tour Edge Xrail 5h 26*- usual gamer hybrid 160 if I choke down, 165 full length

Tour Edge Xrail 4h 23*- 175 club

G425 5w 19* usual 180-205 depending on rollout

G430 Max 10.5 set to 10.5  Shot scope usually has me around 225 avg for all drives and 240-250 when it gets firm out.  

All Regular flex other than the Glides 4.0.  Stock Wedge shaft in those.

 

Out of curiosity with your distances do you feel comfortable with the stiff heavy shafts?  I would be a mess with those, lol

I have psoriatic arthritis - sorta bad in my wrist and fingers. Very unique swing as I have a slow tempo(think Els maybe a touch slower) I absolutely torque shafts to no end though. Big wrist and huge hands so I need weight to feel the club. Any slow swing speed shafts are useless as i get excessive spin/stupid high launch. G430 Alta CB 55r 10.5* Max resulted in 4600 spin consistently

Really cool bag, @animalgolfs. How's the gapping with your 7 wood, 9 wood and 5 hybrid? I've found I didn't really need anything between 7W and 5H, so I'm curious whether adding the 9W was purely a gapping thing for you or they fill different roles?

9w & 5h are basically the same....just different trajectory routes. 9w for carry & stop - 5h for little run out( plus it's my punch out club).
