Golfers just have zero clue what lifting heavy weights and eating a lot will do to your body. If he’s on PEDs he’s done a terrible job. He doesn’t have an impressive physique for a professional athlete that lifts with trainers and has a nutritionist. He put on mostly water weight and fat. This video is 100% for attention.

i respect his work ethic, but so over his speed training and childish behavior. He hits it far enough, good work, now go work on your short game. The incremental results provide limited benefit IMO

I watched that video, and 2 things came to mind either people were accusing him or he feels others (BK after he kicked his butt) are and wanted to show he wasn’t. This doesn’t mean he didn’t in the early part of the transformation.  Really just five minutes of my life I won’t get back.

Btw I’m a Bryson fan. 

PEDs arent just about mass, many athletes are taking them to recover and stay healthy which allows them to continue training when the other guy has to call it quits.

In 2020 he jacked that up to 324. 

That’s totally unheard of on the PGA Tour. Nothing close. Guys can get longer  5 or 10 yards over a period of years but  even then it’s equipment that accounts for the gains mostly. 
 

But 22 yards in a year?!
 

It’s like a sprinter shaving 1/4 second off 100m time.

 

Or, ahem, baseball players suddenly hitting 70 home runs.

Ya but 100 out of 100 guys on tour would give their left…ear ; ) to pick up 22 yards. And they all are trying to max swing speed via workouts and equipment.

 

BD is the *only guy to do it. Even remotely. 
 

I agree he accomplished this because,

 

1. He a great athlete with exceptional balance and speed potential

2. He realized this potential with dedication and planning not peds 

 

But still, you don’t see this type of phenomenon increase in performance at the pro/elite level in such a short time without PEDs.

 

Thats all I was sayin ; )

I wonder if anyone has introduced BDC to books? They are a wonderful way to spend your free time.

Look, it's a matter of opinion.  So to answer your question, I myself actually understand why the guy is using a YouTube channel.  I think of a whole bunch of tour players whose life I can image is a legitimate "clown show".  Getting insight to the daily life of a pro tour player that is trying to better themselves is actually pretty cool.  So, you go enjoy your self-improvement books 👍 and I'll enjoy my YouTube videos.
