Anyone else looking forward to this being broadcast on Jan 5th? Four of the most hilarious personalities on tour playing a money game on a par 3 course for charity? Gotta be more entertaining than the last "Match"...

I’m in for all but Joel.  Just because your hat is big , doesn’t make you funny .  All hat no cattle comes to mind.

All holes under 125 yards with most under 100. Being played on a 9 hole Austin, TX pitch and putt course.

The last "Match" was entertaining. It was great watching Brooks club BDC like a baby seal.

Also, pretty sure I visited a Gentleman's Club with this tournament's namesake in Tijuana a few years back. 👌

I pretty much watch everything golf. And I will watch this. But I agree this group does nothing for me. It's basically 4 guys who don't look like your prototype PGA pro,I get it. But Pat Perez annoys me to no end. I'm tired of the Harold Varner 'country boy from ECU' story. I don't know much about the other 2 besides I think they might be chubby? But Like I said I'll watch it.

The idea of watching 4 pros have 125 yards into every hole should actually be a ton of fun to watch, just knocking down flagsticks all day.  Maybe see a hole in one depending if they put the flags in hard spots or fun spots.

Euro Legends guys actually have a par 3 tour.......they play for themselves though not some charity......LOL!

 

Pretty entertaining ....

 

I'd love to see a league that puts on a two-day tournament on say Monday and Tuesday.

This looks pretty cool to watch and entertaining. However, I like some of the Matches. If the golf isn't that great in the Matches, sometimes the golf dialogue is very interesting. I just watched the Match of Tiger and McIlroy from 2013 at Mission Hills. The golf was very good, but the golf dialogue was really interesting.

 

Tiger and McIlroy were talking about equipment and things on tour that you would likely not hear or read about. They talked about  how the Tour Championship was set up really easy, but nobody scored well because all the pros were beat up after the season and talked about some other tournament's setups and scoring. Also, a lot of talk about the equipment, how the new ball was longer, how McIlroy liked the new Nike Covert 460 driver because it was more forgiving, but Tiger didn't, how Tiger didn't like the Nike 2-iron because it had too much offset and was hoping Nike came out with a better 2-iron with less offset, and few other cool topics like shafts. It was a good watch.

I don't know about that.  Where's the risk/reward and shot making skills?  Might as well be a driving range with a pig trough at 125 yards.

They won't have 125 yards to each hole. Most holes on this p&p are sub 100 yards.

Thats totally fair lol.  If anything it should be just a quick and painless (and hopefully fun to watch) event.  Better than some of the matches for sure.  I tried to watch the Bryson/Brooks one and could not have cared less, and I'm a big Bryson fan.  

 

With that said too, I think pitch and putts are totally under rated style of golf.  I wish there were some more par 3 courses in the game today.  They're quick, fun and 9 chances for a hole in one!
